The Cineraria is the Compositea perennial plant, with liking cool, fearing cold and blooming around the major festivals like New Year, Spring festival. It is an ideal potted flower during the winter and spring, with a great market demand and ornamental value. Therefore, in order to meet the market demand, the study was designed to investigate suitable substrates and nutrient solution on different growth stages of the Cineraria, and continuously improve soilless cultivation technology to meet the market demand. Also it could provide a scientific support for commercialization and large-scale production of the Cineraria.The experiments researched on three parts:seedlings from cineraria, matrix optimization, nutrient solution optimization, to filter the most suitable matrix and nutrient solution for different stages of cultivation. The results were as follows:(1) The experiment chooses peat soil, vermiculite and perlite, compared with the garden soil for investigating the impact on the Cineraria seedlings. The results show:the highest comprehensive evaluation index is for the T1 (peat soil:vermiculite:perlite= 1:1:0), the second is for the T2 (peat soil:vermiculite:perlite= 2:1:0), both T1 and T2 are higher than the contrast treatment, the comprehensive evaluation index for T3 and T4 is lower than the contrast. So T1 is the best for Cineraria seedlings.(2) On the basis of Cineraria seedlings, The experiment chopses expansion ceramsite, fire soil and perlite, and the three kinds of granular matrix are clean, pollution-free, recyclable, compared with the garden soil, to explore whether the matrix is suitable for cineraria soilless cultivation, and to select the best suitable matrix matching for the growth. Results show that all the process comprehensive index are higher than the contrast, indicating granular matrix is suitable for cineraria soilless cultivation. All the quality indicators of T2 (expansion ceramsite:fire soil:perlite= 0:1:0) and T6(expansion ceramsite:fire soil:perlite= 3:5:0.5) (the growth of status, biological accumulation and flower) are better than the other treatment, a the second is the T6, T2 and T6 treatment so choose.(3) On the basis of filtering matrix of T2 and T6, combining modified hoagland nutrient solution formula, Garden try formula, rock wool drip formula, chrysanthemum nutrient solution formula four different nutrient solutions, a water control study the effects of different stages of growth and flowering of the Cineraria. The results of the growth stage showed:the comprehensive evaluation index of T6F3 is 0.85, which suits the best for Cineraria growth; the comprehensive index of each treatment is greater than the control group T2F5 and T6F5; and comprehensive evaluation index of T2 matrix is greater than T6; F3 nutrient solution’s comprehensive evaluation index is greater than other nutrient solutions. The results during the flowering stage showed that:the comprehensive evaluation index of T6F2 is the greatest one, which showed that it is the most suitable nutrient solution for the flowering stage; other processing integrated indicators are also higher than the control group T2F5 and T6F5; and comprehensive evaluation index of T6 is greater than T2; comprehensive evaluation index of F2 nutrient solution is higher than other nutrient solutions.
