The Application Reseach Of Ground Cover Plants In Ji’nan City Park

With the gradual deepening of the urban greening and the improvement of the urban development requirements of green, it basically does not build new city parks in the old city, changing from building city parks in the city to transforming city parks and seeing seam insert green in the city. In the process of transformation of city parks, the increase of the original species and the richness of plant communities have become the main means to transform the city parks.The original lawn is rich in a variety of landscape plants, including leaf shrubs, flower shrubs, flower, etc. Compared to the lawn, these plant materials not only have good effect of landscape, low maintenance cost, but also have higher ecological benefits than the lawn, which is more conducive to the rich vegetation levels.Ground cover plants in the existing city park limited land, improve the land coverage, prevent soil erosion, dust and noise. These are can not be replaced by the original grass and other plant material.Compared with trees, the ground cover plants have the characteristics of strong covering power, short plants, fast growth rate, which can make up the vacancy in the tree layer. The landscape and ecological benefits of urban parks have been greatly improved, and the landscape and biodiversity in cities have been realized.In the process of landscape design, due to the landscape designers for some plant ecological habits, selection criteria and collocation is used, the lack of full understanding, there are deviation of garden plant ecological habits, or confusion in the use of, not only can not reach the ecological effect, reduce the use effect and the landscape effect, but also easily lead to vegetation degradation, resulting in the second cropping, the formation of unnecessary economic waste.This paper mainly discusses the application and evaluation of the plants in the urban parks of Ji’nan area, and explains the concept of the ground cover plants. According to the corresponding theoretical basis established for in Jinan area plants application evaluation index system, and applied in Jinan City Park by plants were evaluated, in situ plant ecological habits, ornamental, is used for evaluation of analytical, obtaining suitable for plant in Jinan area, and on which no widely used varieties were recommended.From the ornamental value, the use value, the practical degree carries on the analysis, and carries on the analysis summary to the main terrain and the collocation application, proposes own opinion. To provide theoretical basis for the application of plant in the garden greening of Ji’nan area and the surrounding areas of similar climate.
