Planning And Design Of Dongtiangezhuang Eco-clean Small-watershed In Miyun County, Beijing

Dongtiangezhuang small-watershed is located in the north and center of Taishitun Town, Miyun County, including 2 villages, Dongtiangezhuang and Liuhegou. The small-watershed is part of Chaobaihe basin, adjacent to the east side of Miyun Reservoir, with an area of 12.12km2 and involving the soil erosion area of 5.43km. The comprehensive management of the small-watershed is very important to protect the water quality security of Miyun Reservoir. Eco-clean small-watershed is a new formulation, a new stage and a new model, for the comprehensive management of small-watershed. It is the cooperation of soil and water conservation for ecological environment rehabilitation and ecological civilization construction in China. To improve our construction level of eco-clean small-watershed, good planning and design of science and sanity is of great importance.Eco-clean small-watershed theory and three ecological fronts theory are 2 basic theories for the planning and design of Dongtiangezhuang eco-clean small-watershed in Miyun County, Beijing. We start our planning and design work on the basis of field investigation, systematic analysis, "Technical regulations for ecological and clean small-watersheds" (DB11/T 548-2008) and other related technical specifications. Measures will be taken to achieve the standards of 2 grade water source protection areas. The main research methods like information inquiry, remote sensing surveys, site investigation, systematic diagnostics, technical standards, model calculation, computer aid design and analysis are used in the planning and design. We find that the present Dongtiangezhuang small-watershed can not reach the standards of eco-clean small-watershed for the unreasonable land use structure, point source pollution from some over-standard sewage discharge and imperfect soil and water conservation measures system.We build the system of control measures by divide Dongtiangezhuang small-watershed in ecological restoration zone, ecological regulation zone and ecological protection zone to solve the problems existing in the small-watershed. We arrange forestry ban project, engineering measures of soil and water conservation, vegetable measures of soil and water conservation, village landscaping works, household garbage project, sewage treatment project, field road project, debris flow control works and science popularization project and water-saving measures in three functional divisions. Through the implement of conservation and management measures guiding by the planning and design, Dongtiangezhuang small-watershed will be a eco-clean small-watershed.
