Design And Experimental Study On Small Seed Fluid Seeder

A fluid spraying seeding was put forward in this study to solve the difficulties in separation and uniform distribution of small seeds sowing fortininessand irregularity in shape. Asmall seeds fluid spray seeder was,developed and the performance was tested. The property of soaked seeds was studied..Thedimensionsand physical properties (density, bulk density, etc.)of small seeds at different soaking timewere measured and the optimal soaking time was obtained through germination experiment and it is 36h-44h for celery seeds,16h-20hfor garland chrysanthemumand 12h-16h for spinach.The ratio ofthickening agent and water was determined based on experiment and the optimal ratioof 0.15%-0.20%was obtained according to the effect of the ratio on seeding uniformity and seedling growth at early growing stageThe spraying fluidseederof small seedswasdesigned which employed compressed air agitation, with pressure controller, meteringcontrol,and special line of pipe and other devices,to solve the difficulty in separation and uniform distribution of small seeds.The3D model of spraying fluid seederof small seeds was set up with Solidworks soft and the prototype of the seeder was developed based on virtual assembling and optimizing.Single factorexperiments of the effect of ratio ofthickening agent and waterand pressure in seed-gel container on distribution uniformity were carried out and the optimal parameters ofdifferent types of seedswere obtained And the optimal range of ratio of thickening agent and water is 0.15%-0.20% the pressure in seed-gel container is 0.05MPa-0.2MPa, while the seed distribution uniformity of celery s chrysanthemum and spinachis 3.8%、 2.1% and 10%respectivelywhich can meet the requirements of small seedsseeding.
