In recent years, the development of China’s agriculture technology is fast, but it still lags behind the developed countries.In the course of the scale raises,small raising household and small scale farm have gradually been eliminated. The number of large scale farms is increasing, the intensification and automation of livestock and poultry breeding has been improved. The automatic control technology of the aquaculture environment plays an important role in the modern aquaculture industry. The suitable breeding environment is conducive to the growth of livestock and poultry, and it is helpful to improve the production and quality of livestock and poultry production. At the same time it can reduce the incidence of infectious diseases caused by environmental changes in livestock and poultry. At present, the main control mode of domestic dairy farm environment control mode is the combination of manual and electromechanical. Based on the experience of the operator and the intuitive sense to operate the control equipment is lack of scientific basis and has low degree of automation. It can not meet the needs of modern large-scale dairy farms. Environment control system of dairy farm changes the focus from study on hardware system to design a more scientific and rational control mode to alleviate the discomfort of dairy cows in the process of environmental regulation, improve milk production.This paper design a environment monitoring system based on a wireless sensor network of dairy farm according to the actual situation of China’s dairy farm.Its main use is regulating the cowshed environment in summer high temperature weather. The system is based on Zigbee wireless communication technology to build a sensor network, it can detect multiple environments at the same time.This system uses single chip microcomputer to collect temperature,humidity and ammonia data which sensors monitor the environmental parameters of the farm, and the data transmission is through the wireless sensor network. SCM transmits the environmental data through the wireless network to the computer. PC control system analyzes the environmental parameters through LabVIEW software and control the equipment of lower computer to adjust the farm environment.This paper uses Lab VIEW software to design two control modes: traditional control mode and adaptive optimal control mode. The traditional control mode needs operator input to the target environment parameters, the system control fan and sprinkler and other equipment to adjust the environmental parameters to constantly close to the system settings. The adaptive optimal control model is a adaptive control system, operator manual inputs daily milk yield, the system automatically set up a database to keep the milk production and the corresponding environmental parameters. The purpose of the regulation of adaptive optimal control model is to pursue high yield milk. With the continuous accumulation of data, the system can automatically screening the parameter setting from the day of highest milk yield in environmental parameters database to adjust the cowshed environment. The experimental results show that the design of the environmental control system has obvious effect, the adaptive optimization control model is effective to maintain and improve the milk yield of dairy cattle in high temperature of summer.
