Orchard planting patterns in our country is taking family as the unit more single-family, small area most orchard management work is done by human, so the production mode of low efficiency, not only the intensity of labor is big, but also for the growth of fruit trees, fruit yield and quality has a direct impact, which affect the growers’ economic benefits.To this end, this paper orchard planting and management mode and demand for mechanization development design a can be used for the auxiliary fruit picking, transportation, wheeled orchards of fruit tree pruning, and orchard management work multi-functional operating platform.In this paper, the main research contents are as follows:(1) According to our country’s orchard planting patterns and gardening requirements determine the operation platform of the whole structure scheme and working parameters of the machine with wheel hydraulic chassis as the carrier, carry to elevating scissors work platform, by manipulating the controller can easily control the rise and fall.(2) Completed the wheeled orchard work platform design, including walking hydraulic chassis, transverse telescopic lift platform and hydraulic system.Walking chassis using offset work station can reduce the machine overall height and center of gravity, fully improve through sex and stability of the orchard work platform;Lift platform by drive-by-wire operation box can easily control platform lift freely according to the demand and scale;Design and draw the hydraulic system schematic diagram, analyses the operation platform for high velocity, platform, lifting, platform scale, and the hydraulic principle of brake function.(3) Use SolidWorks to establish the model of the three-dimensional structure of components, completed the prototype virtual assembly, interference of the lift platform test and finite element analysis, the results show that the mechanism can meet the design requirements, can improve the safety of the equipment.(4) By establishing the mathematical model of steering trapezoid structure, use of MATLAB calculation and analysis, has carried on the structure optimization of steering trapezoid, the weighted method is adopted to optimize calculation, after proper steering trapezoid arm 112.8 mm long, tie rod 283.2 mm long, steering rack installation axis to the steering trapezoid bottom edge distance is 80 mm minimum deviation Angle error absolute value is 1.7194 °, the optimization effect is best.(5) Test the multi-function wheel orchard work platform prototype, test the prototype of the lifting height, lifting stability, the speed and the crossing obstacle capability, the results show that the prototype can meet the orchard requirements.
