Forest fire prevention is an important part of the work of disaster prevention and reduction in china, and it is the foundation to speed up the development of forestry and ecological construction. After the occurrence of forest fire, fire safe and remote pressure control is a difficult problem in the world. Fire extinguishing bomb as a medium and long distance fire extinguishing tools, has a significant contribution to forest fire prevention. There are many kinds of fire extinguishers on the market at present, each kind of fire extinguishing bomb corresponds on different fire fighting environment. This paper introduces a new kind of forest fire extinguishing, and the kinematics and dynamics simulation were analyzed for the bomb. The results will be meaningful for the experiments. The specific content can be summarized as the following:(1) In the paper, the development status of fire fighting technology at home and abroad is compared. It describes the design ideas of fire extinguishing bomb from the forest fire environment. The fire extinguishing bomb is taken into account both the safety distance of fire and fire extinguishing effect. In the design, the cylindrical portion diameter of bomb is expanded a times, placed out of mortar, and increased the length of the stable rod at the same time.(2) The ANSYS/Workbench software is used to carry out the modal analysis, it obtained the bombs six parts vibration and natural, and the weak link of bomb design was also analyzed. The tail intensity was also checked by Workbench, the simulation result shows that the projectile has a safety performance.(3) Ballistic characteristics have an influence on the launch system and flight performance of fire extinguishing bomb. Using the MATLAB software respectively for simulation on the interior ballistic and exterior ballistic of fire extinguishing bomb, which gets the chamber pressure variation with time, firing muzzle velocity, the trajectory of the center of mass and center of mass velocity curve over time. The simulation results show that the fire extinguishing bomb meets the safe distance of fire extinguishing.(4) The ultimate goal of fire extinguishing bomb is to achieve safety by throwing fire extinguishing agent, thrown with the warhead blast wave. Using ANSYS / LS-DYNA nonlinear simulation software to simulate the explosion and scatter effect of extinguishing agent, and the theoretical results show that, compared with the steel shell, ABS engineering plastics, meeting the emission intensity, both whose fire extinguishing agent throwing is more uniform and fire area is relatively larger, is more suitable for the projectile shell.
