To explore the suitable type of fertilizers and the method of fertilization in the growth of sugarcane under the condition of mechanization planting, plot experiment of different types of fertilizer and fertilization method was designed and carried out. In this experiment, guitang 42 and sugarcane special slow-release fertilizer, urea, calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer, potassium chloride were tested. The field experiment was divided six processing according to the different types of fertilizer and fertilization methods, in order to study different types of fertilizer and fertilization methods on sugarcane growth, nutrient uptake, physiological and biochemical characteristics, the influence of sugarcane stalk yield quality and economic benefit. The experiment result is suitable for the mechanized cultivation of forming a complete set of application techniques, to provide theoretical reference on sugarcane fully mechanized cultivation. Then, it also can accelerate the process of mechanization. The main results were as follows:1. Sugarcane group growthDifferent treatment effect on sugar cane germination rate, growth rate was not significant, slow-release fertilizer of one time and NPK fertilization method of two times can improve overall sugarcane seedling quality, but the slow-release fertilizer effect is better. Slow-release fertilizer could promote the growth of sugar cane, but no significant effect on stem rate.2. The content of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium nutrient in+3 leafThe nitrogen content of+3 leaf in tillering stage with NPK fertilization method of one time was significantly higher than two times, slow-release fertilizer of two times was significantly higher than one time in the elongation stage.But there was no significant difference between the other treatment.The phosphorus content of NPK fertilization method of one time in+3 leaf was obviously higher than the two times. But there was no significant difference between the treatment of slow-release fertilizer fertilization method. The potassium content with slow-release fertilizer is a little higher than NPK in sugarcane growth period, but the difference was not significant.3. Physiological and biochemical characteristics(1)The substance and enzymes in carbon metabolismThe chlorophyll content with slow-release fertilizer of three times in tillering stage increased significantly, but the one time is better at later growth stage effect The content of soluble sugar (SS) in tillering stage is different between different treatments. The effect of the slow-release fertilizer was better than NPK, but not significant difference. Two times had a higher activity about acid invertase (AI) than one or three times in elongation and late stage. Neutral invertase (NI) activities was highest in the treatment of NPK fertilization method of two times.(2) The substance and enzymes in nitrogen metabolismIt was the highest about Nitrate reductase (NR) activity with the slow-release fertilizer of three times in Early and medium-term growth. The activity of NR with slow-release fertilizer is higher than NPK in the mature stage. The content of Soluble protein (SP) was very different in tillering stage, especially with NPK, and three times is significantly higher than two times and one time.(3) Other enzymes related to growthThe activity of peroxidase (POD) was lowest with NPK fertilization method of two times in the mature stage, but no significant differences between treatment. Polyphenol oxidase (PPO) is related to breathing and disease resistance. And the activity of the two times is lower than three times and one time in elongation stage. Until the mature stage, there is no significant difference between treatment.4. Yield and qualitySlow-release fertilizer of three times has the highest yield and best quality, the second is NPK fertilization method of two times, but no significant difference between the two treatment.5. Economic benefitsSlow-release fertilizer of one time has the highest income, and the next is NPK fertilization method of two times Comprehensive the above results can be concluded that slow-release fertilizer of one time is the most optimal fertilization technology under the sugarcane mechanization planting. It not only saves time and effort, and also can increase profits. It has important significance for guiding the practical production in sugarcane mechanization planting.
