Informatization is a trend of the world’s social and economic development. Zhoushan will be based on the guidelines of the national information technology, the construction requirements of“digital Zhejiang”of Zhejiang Province, and implement development strategy of informatization with the characteristics of Zhoushan, especially popularize and promote informatization in agriculture.After years of development, grape industry has become an industry with Zhoushan’s important agricultural characteristics, and gradually changed to the modern of scale, facilities and modernization. But at present, the environmental monitoring factors of local vineyard is relatively backward, especially the original irrigation and entire-field irrigation are still used in the selection of farmland irrigation methods. These ways of irrigation not only bring a waste of water resources, but also reduce the usage of water for irrigation. So the development of new water saving irrigation technology will be an inexorable trend for in improving the irrigation development of local vineyard.This dissertation analyzes the research context, meaning and domestic and foreign development situations of monitoring system by combing with the actual situation of grape cultivation in Maao demonstration vineyard. Through the analysis of test, we investigate the soil moisture changes in grape growing cycles, sum up the control strategy of grape irrigation, design a practical intelligent irrigation control system, develop the schemes of soil moisture acquisition, data transmission and control. The monitoring system mainly uses the low power chip and Java language to complete the main program design, and realize the soil moisture, irrigation flow information of the timing acquisition and processing, wireless data transmission and alarm, fuzzy control, automatic irrigation and other functions. By using wireless transmission technology, GSM and GPRS technologies, we achieve reasonable automatic irrigation, improve the quality of grapes. The control system designed in this paper has the characteristics of low power consumption, long transmission distance, can achieve the uninterrupted monitoring with 24 hours and meet the needs of vineyard irrigation, which can realize the purpose of water saving irrigation。It will play an important role for the large-scale and efficient cultivation of grape and other economic crops in Zhoushan area.
