The Monochamini is one of the largest tribe of Lamiinae of Cerambycidae, many species of them are the serious pests in the production of agriculture and forestry, and quarantine pests of exit and entry, especially, many species of them cause great economic losses for our country forestry. This article aimed at comparative anatomical study on male and female genital organs of part type of Monochamini, introduced in this tribe of economic significance and research status at home and abroad. Selected some species of the tribe, comparative analysis anatomical characters were studied, through both the male and female genital anatomy. The research work of classification and phylogeny of the Monochamini can be improved.1. Study on male genital organs34 Chinese species belonging to 14 genus were compared anatomical studied and described male genital organs in detail, Supplied color photographs about 204 and the measuring data of 32 species from different parts of the male genitalia. It was the first time utilizing the measured data calculated simply for comparing anatomical, and combined with the morphological characteristics described. The paper is the most comprehensive material on the male genital organs of Monochamini.2. Study on female genital organs32 Chinese species belonging to 13 genus were compared anatomical studied and detailedly described male genital organs, Supplied color photographs about 90 and the measured data of 27 species and 1 subspecies from different parts of the male genitalia. The paper is the most comprehensive material on the female genital organs of Monochamini.3. Study on comparative anatomy of male and female genitals charactersThe male specimens of 34 species and female specimens of 32 species were dissected and the corresponding male and female genitals were examined.12 male genital plates and 7 female genital plates, totally 290 color pictures were presented. The male genitals of 25 characters and female genitals of 19 characters were comparative anatomical studied. The results further confirmed the reliability using male tergum 8, parameres, ringed part, apex of ventral side of median orifice, internal sac, female sternite 7+8, bursa copulatrix and spermatheca to identify the species.4. Relationship and monophyly analysisThe male and female specimens of 23 species were dissected. The preliminary results were as follows:(1) 5 genus Annamanum, Cribragapanthia, Pseudonemophas, Xenicotela, Paraleprodera and 6 genus Anoplophora, Monochamus, Acalolepta, Macrochenus, Pharsalia, Blepephaeus were distant relatives. In addition, the 5 genus were distant relatives each other, and the 6 genus were close relatives each other. (2) Anoplophora and Acalolepta respectively are monophy. However, Monochamus may be polyphyly, because some species of Monochamus were related complicatedly with the species other genus, and refreshing Monochamus is quite necessary. Monochamus alternatus alternates and Monochamus alternatus endai were similar to Pharsalia subgemmata and Pharsalia antennata on morphological structure of adult, therefore genetic relationship of the 4 species are intimately relational.
