This paper analyze and research the 5 Liriodendron chinense’s growth traits to get the below conclusions:(1) The Average 3 years old tree height of the 3 trail sites, Xianshui, Huangmian, Gaofeng is 3.6 m, average DBH is 3.9 cm, aver single tree volume is 0.0039 m3, average crown width is 1.5 m3. In the trial site of Huangmian and Gaofeng, the tree height, DBH, tree volume and crown width is significantly difference, and the tree growth traits hereditary capacity estimated value all above 0.5 means it is under higher inheritance control.(2) Analysis to the growth traits difference for different ages and provenance in 3 trial sites. From 2011 to 2013, the tree height ranking changes in the different provenance. Liping species from Guizhou in Xianshui trial site shows best, in ranking 1st, Anji species from Zhejiang shows worst in Ranking 5th. The 5 species ranking didn’t change in Huangmian. The best species in Gaofeng is the Jinping species from Yunnan. The DBH ranking from 2012 to 2013 shows:Xianshui trial site, The Liping species up to No.l from No.3. Huangmian trial site, Jinping species up to No.l from No.3. In Gaofeng trial site, Jinping species shows best keeps in ranking 1st for two years.(3) The tree height, DBH, tree volume, crown growth and the crown width-height ratio shows positive correlation with the provenance climates elements and negative correlation with the longitude and latitude of the provenances, but the correlation of the latitude is much bigger than longitude. In The Liriodendron chinense species geography variation were effect by both longitude and latitude, but mainly effected by latitude.(4) On the basis of the main content analysis result, using the 3 main contents of DBH, tree volume, crown width to do the combine selection index analysis to get the provenance ranking is Yunnan Jinping> Fujian Wuyishan> Guangxi Quanzhou>Guizhou Liping> Zhejiang Anji. The principal component character genetic gain of the best provenance is: 12.56%、33.11%、20.77%.(5) Base on the clustering analysis, the 5 Liriodendron chinense provenances can be separated into 3 types:The first type is Yunnan provenance shows best, the second type provenance can separated into two subgroup, the first subgroup is Fujian Wuyishan and Guizhou Liping provenance, the second subgroup is Guangxi Quanzhou provenance shows fair. The third type is Zhejiang Anji provenance which shows worst.
