The daxinanling forest region is one of the largest state-owned forest area in our country, because in recent years the harvesting, the forest ecosystem health problems. To apply remote sensing method of forest ecosystem health evaluation on the greater hinggan mountains in Inner Mongolia, can lay a foundation for its large scale evaluation. This article take the northern Daxing’an Mountains Hanma National Nature Reserve, central Wuchagou Forestry Bureau, southern Saihanwula forest ecosystem Based on Landsat8 through the establishment of index system, the determination of index weight, eventually to build a forest health assessment of remote sensing model based on remote sensing index, and to test its precision. The results of the study are as follows:(1) Through comparison on the advantages and disadvantages of the satellite data, this paper finally choose Landsat-8 remote sensing data.. From the original single glass, hat or cap with tassels transform and vegetation index three different treatment to establish index system, the final choice of the original single glass, B3, B4, B5. Hat or cap with tassels transform, BI, GVI, WI; The vegetation index NDVI, DVI, RVI, a total of nine indicators to establish health evaluation index system.(2) Determination of index weight using the analytic hierarchy, determined by all the indicators to build a model of weighted summation, eventually establish a forest health assessment model is: FHI=0.0110xVB3+0.0271xVB4+0.0669xVB5+0.0905xVB1+0.2733×VGV1+0.2733×VW1+ 0.1107x VNDVI+0.1107×VRvi+0.0366×VDVI(3) Get health values calculated by the model and the measured method, comparing the health value sweat horse 18 block sample, WuChaGou 90 pieces of sample and SaiHanWuLa 53 block sample remote sensing model to calculate the health of value is consistent with the trend of the method the health value of data, and correlation significantly (p< 0.01), determination coefficient R2 is 0.551,0.7928 and 0.8516 respectively, model accuracy has reached the requirement.(4) Go due to model in the northern Daxing’an Mountains Hanma, central Wuchagou, southern Saihanwula precision are up to par, therefore, this model is suitable for the greater hinggan mountains in Inner Mongolia forest ecosystem health evaluation.
