Prunus Sibirica as the native tree has an extremely broad distribution in Inner Mongolia.At present it has the lower utilization of apricot,so to improve the rate of comprehensive,choose the excellent varieties of the apricot have become a serious problem that need to be solved urgently.we choose 10 provenances of almond to carry on an analytical comparison to extraction and determination of the main components of almond in Inner Mongolia areas,and screened the provenance which has the higher main components of almond,the aim to provide the theoretical datum and practical base for exploitation and utilization,variety selection and realizing almond industrialization. Our results are showed as follow:(1)Through the variance analysis showed there are significant differences in 4 kernel characteristic among 10 provenances,and the almond weigh,the almond rate have no significant difference in 3 provenances,the average variation coefficients of different traits among provenances is 0.25,the average variation coefficient of the same provenance in different traits was 0.19-0.35.(2)Analyses were conducted on amygdalin content of almond by two methods,the result showed the amygdalin average content of 10 provenances is 5.36% by UV-Spectrophotometry,the result is 5.51% by HPLC.the results of two ways were basic agreement.The variation coefficients among provenances(0.14)was higher than the variation coefficients within provenances(0.05).(3)Using Coomassie blue staining to analysis soluble protein content of almond, there are significant differences in soluble protein content among provenances in Inner Mongolia,the range of content is 16.84%-23.60%,21.02% as the average content,the variation coefficients among provenance is 0.13,the average variation coefficients within provenance is lower,from 0.02 to 0.07.(4)Almond oil of almond from apricot was extracted with Soxhlet extraction method,there are significant differences in almond oil content among provenances,the average content was 51.46%,the average content scope of almond oil was 46.28%~56.77%,the average variation coefficients among provenance was 0.06,the range of variation coefficients within provenance was 0.02~0.05.(5)To comprehensively analyses the kernel traits and the main components of the almond,the result indicated that Keshenketengqi has the highest value of stone weight,endocarp weight and almond oil content,the highest content of amygdalin is in Tumotezuoqi,and Alukeerqinqi has the highest soluble protein content,Kezuohouqi has the highest almond rate, Keyouzhongqi has the highest almond weight. Pearson correlation analysis result showed that the kernel traits has no significant correlation with the main components content,the altitude has significant correlation with the main components content.The cluster results indicated 10 provenances can be classified into 2 classes,the cluster result proves the correlation results.
