This test based on previous national resources survey of Prunus Sibirica, through scientific sampling location,in 2015,we collected Prunus Sibirica seeds that could reflect integral information from 75 geographic provenance in all of its distribution range, determine oil content and fatty acid composition of these seeds, inferred biodiesel characteristic value, and analyzed the variation rule of different geographical provenance. At the same time,we collected environmental factors of 75 geographical provenance, analyzed key environmental factors that caused oil properties variation of Prunus Sibirica seeds of different, and illuminate the influence rule of environmental factors on Prunus Sibirica seed oil characteristics.Based on oil content, fatty acid composition and biodiesel characteristic values, constructed the evaluation model, used ArcGis,took comprehensive quantitative evaluation for habitat suitability of Prunus Sibirica in our country, and drew the ecological energy forest suitability map and marginal land utilization plan map of Prunus Sibirica. The main results and conclusions are as follows:?1?Oil content and fatty acid composition of Prunus Sibirica has obvious difference of different geographical provenance.Among these,Hexigten Banner is the most superior Prunus Sibirica cultivation base in term of both oil content and fatty acid composition.?2?Through conducted principal components analysis on 17 environmental factors and their relationship with oil properties of 75 geographical provenance obtained that the main environmental factors affect Prunus Sibirica oil properties are altitude, average temperature of January, annual rainfall,frost-free period,?10?accumulated temperature and organic matter content.?3?The hundred-nut weight and hundred-kernel weight of Prunus Sibirica are significantly positively correlated with their seed morphological characteristics?in addition to hundred-nut weight and kernel thickness?.The smaller the apricot nut,the higher its yield.Prunus Sibirica kernel percent increases with the increase of latitude and decreases with the increase of altitude. The kernel thickness is significantly positively correlated with July temperature. The kernel and nut size and weight are significantly correlated with the frost free period of various sources. The longer the sunshine hours, the more dry matter accumulation of the apricot seeds, the higher kernel percent.Among Prunus Sibirica habitat suitability evaluation divisors, climate factors weight?0.6321?is higher than terrain factor weight?0.3611?and soil factors weight?0.0068?,that is,climate factors have great influence on the distribution of Prunus Sibirica, and terrain factors and soil factors have lower influence.?4?For single factor evaluation of Prunus Sibirica habitat suitability,in nine evaluation factors,Prunus Sibirica has the widest adaptation range to slope and the narrowest adaptation range to average annual rainfall and?10?accumulated temperature. In general, the growth area of Prunus Sibirica is wide. The suitable habitat distribution of Prunus Sibirica in our country are mainly concentrated in the north and east of Xin Jiang, west and east of Inner Mongolia, north and south of Gan Su,Ning Xia,north of Shan Xi,north of He Bei,north of Beijing,Liao Ning, north west of Ji Lin,and west of Hei Longjiang, the habitat area is 21390.20×104hm2,account for 22.9%of the total evaluation area. The more suitable habitat area is 28048.71×104hm2,account for30.0%of the total evaluation area, mainly distribute in the northern region, with few distribution in the south. The unfavourable habitats are mainly distribute in the south area, and a few scatter in northern area include Xinjiang,Inner Mongolia,Hei Longjiang and Shan Xi provinces, with area is 44055.46×104hm2,account for 47.1%of the total evaluation area.?5?The marginal land suitable for planting Prunus Sibirica in China is13550.67×104hm2,account for 23.0%of the total marginal land area. The marginal land suitable for planting Prunus Sibirica is 16025.67×104hm2,which accounts for 27.3%of the total area of the marginal land.In China, there is a large area of marginal land suitable for planting Prunus Sibirica. The development and utilization of mountain apricot has broad development potential.
