| Infertility disorder is one of the major problems that have puzzled the dairy cow indus-try for a long time. It results in the increment of the interval time between two calves, the increment of mating times, and the increment of worthless feeding time. Failed treatment of infertility disorder even leads to cows eliminated.The investigation includes the incidence of infertility disorder in large-scale farms, the prohibit mating system, the information of prohibited mating cows, and detailed information on eliminated infertility disorder cows. Results showed that incidence rate of infertility dis-order was 21.7%. The investigation of prohibited mating cow indicated that infertility disor-der cow presented high mating times and low gestational age trend. The average gravida of prohibited mating infertility disorder cows was 1.62. And the average mating time was 9. The investigation of eliminated infertility disorder cow showed that eliminated infertility disorder cow was 17.1% of the whole eliminated cowThe research of the curative effect of Xiaonang Powder on the ovarian cyst.14 cows were diagnosed with the ovarian cyst and 10 cows were diagnosed with corpus luteum cyst by rectal examination and B-mode ultrasonic. E2, P4, FSH, LH of the serum were tested by radioimmunoassay. Clinical efficacy showed that effective rate of Xiaonang Powder was 58.33% and cure rate was 50%. While the effective rate of hormone was 75% and cure rate was 33%. Compared with those before the experiment, the blood progesterone of TCVM group was significant difference in 4th day and a highly significant difference in the 6th day. While the blood progesterone of hormone group was significant difference in 2nd day and a highly significant difference in 3rd day. In corpus luteum cyst experiment, progesterone of hormone group showed significant difference in 2nd day and highly significant difference in 4th day. While progesterone of TCVM group was significant difference in 5th day and highly significant difference in 8th day. The content of FSH and LH changes few.The experiment of Xiaonang Powder effect on ovarian cyclical activity recovery. Cows were administrated with Xiaonang Powder to observe the follicular development and the changes of E2 and P4 which were tested by B-model ultrasonic radioimmunoassay, in order to evaluate the effect of Xiaonang Powder. The results showed that follicular development of TCVM group was faster than the blank control group after 4th day. And E2 content of Xiaonang Powder group was higher than the blank control group. Xiaonang Powder pro-moted the recovery of cow ovarian cyclical activity postpartum. |
