This paper mainly studies on the corn water requirement characteristic and the applicability of SIMDual_Kc model of drip irrigation in Tong Liao region of Inner Mongolia.The experiment was set up with compared method of same number of irrigation quota and different irrigation times. Through the analysis of the effect of different treatments on soil moisture variation, maize water requirement, the relationship between soil evaporation and crop transpiration, the main conclusions are as follows.(1) Soil water evaporation can be reduced when use Plastic film mulching. It influenced soil water content of different depth. In the case of less rainfall and no irrigation, deep soil moisture migration obviously to satisfy the water need of crop.At the same time,it would strengthen the gasification process of surface water.After the rain, regardless of the plastic film mulching or not, wide inter-row soil moisture content was evidently affected by rainfall. With the increase of soil depth, the influence of rainfall on soil moisture content is more and more small. After irrigation, the soil moisture migration direction for drip irrigation belt to the ridge, but diffusion speed become slower and slower(2) Study on the water consumption regularities of maize growth period through the water balance method. The analysis showed that the filling stage water consumption intensity is maximum followed by the tasseling stage.While the filling and tasseling stage water consumption was counts for about 60% of the whole growth period of maize.It is the sensitive stage of water. The water consumption modulus of maize performance maturity stage<seeding stage<jointing stage< tasseling stage< filling stage.(3) The soil evaporation of maize under the no plastic film mulching drip irrigation is 102~138mm. The ratio of soil evaporation to water consumption at whole growth period is 25.45~26.39. Thesoil evaporation of maize under the plastic film mulching drip irrigation is 71~107mm. The ratio of soil evaporation to water consumption at whole growth period is 19.21~21.14%.The results showed that plastic film mulching can reduce soil water evaporation effectively at the beginning of the crop growth. After irrigation, the soil evaporation of maize happened during the wet period of surface soil.There are two basic factors to influence soil evaporation, one is the surface soil water content, another is leaf area index. Using the plastic mulching drip irrigation could reduce the soil evaporation. It means that plastic mulching could reduce the wet area and shorten the wetting time to decrease the soil evaporation and increase the water absorbed by root, which could reduce the the ratio of soil evaporation to water consumption at every growth period(4) Dual crop coefficient model SIMDual_Kc can simulate and calculate the soil water content variation process of drip irrigation in the eastern area of Inner Mongolia. According to calibrate and validate the crop coefficient Kcb adj and Ke to simulate and calculate the soil evaporation to provide certain theoretical support for irrigation system in the future.As the Tong Liao region of Inner Mongolia,clearing the maize water requirement and the relationship between soil evaporation and crop transpiration have very important significance to guide the region corn of drip irrigation...
