TMR feeding technology is widely used for the production of high quality feed. TMR technology has also made the cows rearing methods more convenient, from the group feeding to individual feeding. Offering high quality feed to the dairy cows has highly improved the dairy farming methods and production efficiency. In this study, combined with herd sizes, feed supply, management and other factors we discus Guangxi TMR technology status in the China’s southern natural conditions and its application, the analysis of the effects, specifically includes the following three aspects:1, A survey regarding the Status of TMR Technology for dairy cows in Guangxi region:field visits for Guangxi dairy cattle farm were made, the investigation found that TMR technology is having feed quality control management deficiencies, the cattle grouping is not accurate, TMR formulas are not according to the standards, lack of monitoring the production processes and other manage-mental issues have restricted the development of the local dairy industry.2, The collection and analysis of representative cow production data: groups were made according to the perspective of sort of analysis of representative cow’s production management data, the data showed, Guangxi milk yield based on climatic characteristics, the effect of longer period of heat stress on milk yield is high, cows are eliminated because of having metabolic diseases at peak production of milk.. Groups feed data showing excess dietary protein in feed which can be worse.3, According to the survey design and data analysis fat powder trial was also performed on two feeds. The high yielding cows feed and low yielding cow feed.low yielding cow feed was modified by adding palm fat powder to replace the high-yielding cow feed as it was cost effective.the cows fed with modified feeds they showed high yield improved results almost equal to high yielding cows, yield modified low-yielding cows after being fed with modified fat diet, their composition of milk regarding fat, non-fat solids, the number of somatic cells had almost same value as of the high yielding cows (P> 0.05), but milk protein content reduced (P<0.05).
