The experiment was conducted to determine the effects of chitosan oligosaccharides and alginate oligosaccharides on growth performance, immune response and hematological parameters of juvenile turbot(Scophthalmus maximus). The primary results of these studies can provide scientific foundation to the application of chitosan oligosaccharides and alginate oligosaccharides on feed production and cultivation of juvenile turbot.1. Effect of chitosan oligosaccharides(COS) on growth performance, immune response and hematological parameters of juvenile turbot.A 70-day feeding experiment was carried out the turbot with body weight of(17.70±0.10) g at water temperature of 18-21℃. adding different concentration of chitosan oligosaccharides(200mg/kg,500mg/kg,2000mg/kg,5000mg/kg) to the basic feed control group(C1,C2,C3,C4). Results showed that:(1) Compared with the control group, the COS have no significant effect on growth performance(P>0.05), and specific growth rate, feed conversion ratio, weight gain rate, hepatosomatic index and viscerosoatic index were not affected significantly(P>0.05). No significant difference was found in the content of moisture, crude lipid and ash in the fish, the content of crude protein in C3 and C4 group apparently higher than the control group(P<0.05). No significant difference was found in the content of moisture, crude lipid, ash and crude protein in the dorsal muscles(P>0.05).(2) The vitality of acidic phosphatase(ACP) in C3 and C4 have significant effect with the control group(P<0.05). Compared with the control group, the COS have significant effect on the vitality of alkaline phosphatase(AKP), and have no significant effect on the vitality of lysozym and superoxide dismutase(SOD). In the liver the vitality of acidic phosphatase(ACP) and superoxide dismutase(SOD) have no significant effect with the control group(P>0.05). Infection test showed that with the dietary supplementation’s increase the survival rate also increase.(3) Compared with the control group, The COS have no significant effect on hemameba, hematokrit, erythrocyte and the amount of blood cell in the blood(P>0.05). The mean corpuscular volume have significant differences with the control group(P<0.05), and the mean corpuscular hemoglobin have no significant differences(P>0.05). The mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration in C1,C2,C3 significant higher than the control group(P<0.05). Compared with the control group, the albumin, total protein and globulin in blood have no significant differences with the control group(P>0.05). The contents of aspartate aminotransferase in serum have no significant differences with the control group(P>0.05), the contents of alanine transaminase in serum also have no significant differences with the control group(P>0.05), except the C1 group(P<0.05). Compared with the control group, the COS have no significant effect on the contents of total cholesterol, triglyceride and high-density lipoprotein(P>0.05).2. Effect of alginate oligosaccharides(AOS) on growth performance, immune response and hematological parameters of juvenile turbot.A 70-day feeding experiment was carried out the turbot with body weight of(17.70±0.10) g at water temperature of 18-21℃. adding different concentration of alginate oligosaccharides(200mg/kg,500mg/kg,2000mg/kg,5000mg/kg) to the basic feed control group(A1,A2,A3,A4). Results showed that:(1) Compared with the control group, the AOS have no significant effect on weight gain rate, specific growth rate, hepatosmatic index and organ-body ratios(P>0.05). but the feed coefficient in A3,A4 have significant differences with the control group(P<0.05). No significant difference was found in the content of moisture, crude lipid and ash in the fish, the content of crude protein in A4 group apparently higher than the control group(P<0.05). No significant difference was found in the content of moisture, crude lipid, ash and crude protein in the dorsal muscles(P>0.05).(2) Compared with the control group, the vitality of lysozym and superoxide dismutase(SOD) have no significant differences with the control group(P>0.05).The vitality of acidic phosphatase(ACP) in A1,A2,A3 group significant higher than the control group(P<0.05), The vitality of alkaline phosphatase(AKP) in A1,A2 group significant higher than the control group(P<0.05). In the liver the vitality of acidic phosphatase(ACP) and superoxide dismutase(SOD) have no significant effect with the control group. Infection test showed that with the dietary supplementation’s increase the survival rate also increase.(3) The amount of hemameba in the experimental group apparently higher than the control group(P<0.05), but the hematokrit, erythrocyte and the amount of blood cell have no significant differences with the control group(P>0.05). The mean corpuscular hemoglobin and the mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration also have no significant differences with the control group(P>0.05). Compared with the control group, the AOS have significant effect on the mean corpuscular volume(P<0.05). The albumin, total protein and globulin in blood have no significant differences with the control group(P>0.05), except the A4 group. The contents of aspartate aminotransferase and alanine transaminase in serum have no significant differences with the control group(P>0.05), Compared with the control group, the AOS have no significant effect on the contents of total cholesterol, triglyceride and high-density lipoprotein(P>0.05).In conclusion, the COS and AOS have no significant effect on the growth performance and hematological parameters, but significantly increased the immune response, Suggested the volume of the COS was 5000mg/kg and the volume of the AOS was 500mg/kg.
