| Wintersweet(Chimonanthus praecox) is originated in China, and is extensively used in landscape. Wuhan is an important cultivation area of wintersweet, the germplasm resources investigation of wintersweet in Wuhan City in this paper has a typical representative. Based on complete survey and classification of wintersweet cultivar resources in Wuhan, basically found out the germplasm status of wintersweet and selected some superior cultivars. Also based on the research, the papaer construct Wuhan Wintersweet standard-cultivars Database, in order to promote the development and application of wintersweet. The main conclutions are as follows:1.Through classification of all the wintersweet cultivar resources in Wuhan, 109 cultivars were recorded in detail(21 cultivars of Chimonanthus praecox Concolor Group, 41 cultivars of C.praecox Intermedius Group, 47 cultivars of C. praecox Patens Group), including 5 new cultivars.2.Identification key to 109 wintersweet cultivars in Wuhan was compiled according to the diversity of characters.Then, summarized the characteristics of wintersweet cultivars in Wuhan.3.Based on the research and 26 primary cultivars of wintersweet. With AHP, excellent cultivars were picked out on the analysis of 12 comprehensive characters including middle-perianth color, inner-perianth color, flower scent, flower diameter, flower shape an so on.4.With GPS technology, combined with ArcPad software and GIS, measured the spatial information of wintersweet cultivars. Combined with Google Earth, Excel and other softwares the paper construct Wuhan Wintersweet standard-cultivars Database, recording growth and main character of the cultivars. Through the Google Earth, distribution informations of wintersweet cultivars can be queried and viewed according to different categories. This Database completes the resource information of wintersweet in Wuhan, provides convenient resources for the protection, promotion and review work of wintersweet. |
