Investigation Of Swine Diarrhea Chinese Medicine For Prevention And Treatment Of Jilin Province

Piglet diarrhea is one of the most typical and severe diseases in the world at present.In many scale pig production,diarrhea is very serious,and the cause of the disease is quite complex.There are many pathogens that cause the diarrhea, mostly due to the pathogen infection, and the parasitic disease, climate diversity, eating habits, the disorder of heart, lung and stomach are closely related. It is reported that 30 kg-piglet’s annual incidence of disease is about 44.5%, and the mortality rate reaches 17% in our country. It mainly occurs in November to the next February each year. The diarrhea rate in some large-scale farms is as high as 50%. In recent years, piglet diarrhea often appears in many piglet farms, which leads to thin, defecate color white even dehydration can not help,red in much less smelly, depression, loss of appetite,afraid of the cold, sick and weak pulse, which causes serous economic losses to the farmers.This research did the investigation about the basic situation in 140 piglet farms in five regions in Jilin province, Changchun(34 farms) Songyuan(28 farms) Baishan(24 farms) Tonghua(18 farms) Jiutai(36 farms), After the main survey including raising management, disease, breeding, the whole situation of piglets, and so on. The main cause of piglet diarrhea in Jilin province was confirmed.The results were as follows:In a group of piglets,as long as one gets infected, if treatment is not timely or thorough, It will directly lead to the slow growth of the piglets,dehydration, secondary infection, death and the low survival rate, which causes serous economic losses to the farmers.According to the survey and preliminary clinical diagnosis, we found that the mixed disease happened was common and the traditional Chinese medicine could treat piglet diarrhea to some extent, whose the effect is good. In our country, the treatment of diarrhea piglets diseases with Chinese traditional medicine has a long history, traditional Chinese medicine contains many active ingredients, which can enhance immunity and antibacterial effect, and there is no adverse drug residues which can cause side effects. Up to now, there has been very mature Chinese medicines for the treatment of diarrhea piglets on clinical trials. Therefore, it is of great value for the diarrhea industry to use traditional Chinese medicine.This experiment was to study traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) prevention and treatment of diarrhea piglets, which will provide certain theoretical basis for the treatment of the disease.
