Tractor is one of the most commonly used agricultural power machinery. Transmission is the core component of tractor power transmission, and its working performance is directly related to the quality and efficiency of tractor operation. When carrying out the new product development of transmission, it has the characteristics of strong case dependence, low knowledge reuse rate and long development cycle. In view of the characteristics of the transmission design, intelligent design method is combined with the domain knowledge of transmission design. Research on the key technologies of the design knowledge mining, representation and reasoning, combined with the NX secondary development module and the VS2012 programming software, and develop the rapid design prototype system of transmission can reduce the labor intensity tand improve design efficiency. The main research contents are as follows:(1) This paper introduces the present situation of the transmission design, and analyzes the structure and working process of the transmission. Based on the modular design idea, the fast design system is divided into several parts. The key technologies of the system development are studied, which provides a theoretical basis for the development of the system.(2) The advantages and disadvantages of several knowledge representation methods are analyzed and compared, and the design knowledge of transmission is excavated, analyzed and sorted out, and a hybrid knowledge representation method based on ontology is proposed. According to the structural characteristics of transmission, building the design hierarchy modular knowledge base of transmission.(3) Based on the combination of case-based reasoning and rule-based reasoning, the efficiency of system reasoning is improved; the process of case based reasoning is divided into three stages, and the corresponding matching algorithm is given, which can improve the efficiency of case retrieval.(4) The development process of the rapid design prototype system of transmission is analyzed; the basic technology of the system development is studied, including the NX secondary development technology, parametric modeling technology and so on. Develop a prototype system of transmission, and verify the system operation results.
