The Study On The Header Of New-type Corn Combine Reaping Both Stalk And Spike

Corn is one of the three main grain crops in our country, and it is superior feed and important industrial raw material. In the meantime, the corn stalks is also an important feed for animal husbandry. But there is no one kind of corn combine reaping both stalk and spike got the widespread popularization and application. It is mainly because of high cost of the production and poor reliability of the machine. So, it is extremely urgent to develop a kind of corn combine reaping both stalk and spike which is low cost and reliable performance.On the basis of analyzing the merits and shortcomes of existing corn-harvester header, to design a new kind of dependable performance and simple structure and rational layout spike-stalk-reaping backpack corn-harvester header. The shredding knives which are rotating on the opposite direction are installed at the bottom of each pick-roller. The bunch lift-conveyer is shifted because of the use of under-scraper lift-conveyer and there is sufficient space to install the straw lift-conveyer. Two lines pick-roller share an common bunch lift-conveyer and two shredding knives share an common straw lift-conveyer, so the overall machine is compact. The chopped straw are fallen to the under-scraper lift-conveyer under the tornado which is formed by rotating.Through lift-conveyer the chopped straw are transmitted to the landscape-orientation screw feeder behind the corn header and then the straw are transported to the blower elevator, at last the straw are expulsed to the strawcollector for the recovery, so the function of reaping both corn stalk and spike are achieved.This topic have done the virtual design for corn-harvester header on the base of virtual prototyping and done the dynamic simulation analysis for the critical component such as snapping roll and shredder bar etc. Many tests are done in the field for the manufactured sample machine in order to test its performance, and the testing results indicated that the spike-stalk-reaping corn-harvester hesder has an excellent applicability and popularize value for corn harvesting.
