Objective:Observe the phenotype of the EMT(Epithelial-mesenchymal transition),whichinclude E-cadherin and N-cadherin expression in human clear cell renal carcinoma(clear cell renal carcinoma,CCRCC),and explore the correlation between EMT andthe clinical stages, pathological grades,to further understand the biology of kidneycancer clinical behavior and provide help for the research of evaluating the prognosisin CCRCC.Methods:Collecting46RCC tissues and10paraneoplastic tissues and normal renal tissues.Detecting the expression of E-cadherin and N-cadherin by ImmunohistochemistryStreptavidin-peroxidase method (sP).Results:E-cadherin positive expression was obviously decreased, while N-cadherinpositive expression was obviously increased in CCRCC,and E-cadherin expressionsignificantly correlation with N-cadherin expression(P<0.05);E-cadherin positiveexpression correlation with the CCRCC clinical stages, pathological grades andlymphatic metastasis(P<0.05),whereas there was no significant correlation betweenthe N-cadherin expression pattern and clinical stage and pathological grades(P>0.05),but it correlation with lymphatic metastasis(P<0.01).Conclusion:1.EMT exsit in CCRCC,and participate the developing of CCRCC,and correlatewith the malignance potential of CCRCC.2.The low expression of E-cadherin and high expression of N-cadherin may playa role in CCRCC and transfer.3.The expression of N-cadherin may correlate with the prognosis of CCRCC.
