Objective to explore the relationship between PAH-DNA adducts and CYP1Al、 GSTM1gene polymorphisms and lymphoma. Methods PAH-DNA adducts from bone marrow of lymphoma patients and control cases were detected with competitive ELISA. The genotype of both CYP1A1and GSTM1were detected with PCR-based restriction fragment length polymorphisms(PCR-RELP).Results The level of PAH-DNA adducts in lymphoma patients was higher than control (x±s patients:2498±1250pg/mL, control cases:1882±797pg/mL),which had significant difference (t=0.006, p<0.05),CYPlAl mutant genotype and GSTM1null Genotype have increased the risk of lymphoma, with OR being1.36(95%CI:0.56-3.31,p>0.05),4.03(95%CI:1.51-10.76p<0.05),respectively.GSTM1null genotype individuals with PAH-DNA level higher (or equal) than2200pg/mL have increased risk of lymphoma. Conclusion The content of PAH-DNA adducts and the occurrence of lymphoma may have a certain correlation. GSTM1null genotype may be linked to lymphoma and increase the risk.
