ObjectiveThis study tries to observe the clinical effevt of the gastrointestinal reaction after the malignant tumor chemotherapy by the treatment of moxibustion on ginger, evaluate the result of the observation, try to improve patients’symptoms through this treatment methods, improve the life quality, provide reliable clinical data for later research about the treatment of gastrointestinal reaction after chemotherapy, in order to inspire further explore about the reasonable and optimize research for the treatment of gastrointestinal reaction after chemotherapy.MethodsThe patients were divided into the treatment group (treat the ginger moxibustion) and control group (treat with drugs), these patients are all included in the standard of gastrointestinal reaction after chemotherapy. Treatment group has29patients, and control group has27patients. The first treatment course, choose the digestive tract symptoms of adverse reaction in the WHO classification evaluation standard to evaluate its curative effect. The evaluation content included symptoms of toxicity symptoms of digestive tract, such as nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and so on. The index to measure the digestive tract toxicity included bilirubin, alanine aminotransferase and alkaline phosphatase. Observers record the symptom and index before and after the treatment, evaluate the results.ResultsThe treatment group and control group are compared by the age, gender, the course of the disease, the solar terms, the times of chemotherapy, the type of malignant tumor diseases, and such other factors. The result of the compare has no significant statistical difference, and it present this two groups has the comparabilityAfter a course of treatment, treatment group6cases were cured (20.67%),14cases were markedly improved (48.28%),9cases were improved(31.05%), no cases had no effect (0.00%), total effective rate was100%; Control group2cases were cured (7.14%),10cases were markedly improved (35.71%),15cases were improved ((53.57%),1case had no effect (3.57%), the total effective rate was96.43%. By the rank sum test, P=0.028<0.05, showing statistical significant difference compared with the control group and treatment group. It means that the treatment group patients’curative effect is better than the control group. After treatment, the two groups’the WHO classification of the gastrointestinal adverse reaction has improved. By statistics analysis, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea were markedly improved, the treatment group curative effect is better than the control group; Constipation was also improved, but the curative effect in treatment group and control group has no significant difference. In the two groups, after treatment of gastrointestinal side effects, the index were reduced. Bilirubin, alanine aminotransferase and alkaline phosphatase has statistically significant before and after the treatment. By the statistical analysis, the treatment group curative effect is better than the control group.ConclusionThe research results show:moxibustion on ginger and drugs both has the curative effect, they can both reduce the gastrointestinal reaction, improve the life quality. But moxibustion on ginger has better treatment effect than the control group. It suggests that moxibustion on ginger has better curative effect for gastrointestinal reaction after chemotherapy.
