ObjectiveIn the medical profession, organ transplantation is known as a one of the greatest achievements in the20th century, also honoured as " the top of medical science" in21st century. Initially emerged large numbers of gratifying reports and research about organ transplant patients "physical, psychological and mental state are in normal, become a normal healthy people","healthy body, the physical and mental, and social and family life in a normal state" and "cured". But as Casell (Cassell,1933:33) warning us, we should not "amazed at" the medical technology then ignor the moral, social and cultureal dilemmas which this technology brings. With the biomedical model transform to biological-psychology-social medical model, the depression, anxiety, mood disoders, psychological rejection, social dyfunction and somatizaton disorder etc. of transplant caused wide public concern. In recent years in China, organ transplants has developed rapidly, we have past the " condemned prisoner organ transplantation" which has been criticized, and entered a new landmark period donated organ transplantation model whcih facing the general public and through the unified management of organ procurement organization. Donated organ transplantation is honoured as "the most beautiful love transfer" and " the over-souls renewal of life", comparing with "condermned prisoner organ transplantation" and " living donor organ transplantation", it has much more advantages. But what exactly is the transplantation bring to patients? Their life after transplantation is really " normal"? With the prgress of many studies, the psychological recovery after organ transplatation will be a important pointer to evaluate the success or failure of the organ transplatation. How is the status of the donated organ transplantion patients life? Which one is better compared with the previous transplant ways? Did they also have the same psychological problems? How to treat these psychological problems? This study is dedicated to:1, undertanding the OPO organ transplantation patients psychological status and inluencing factors;2, exploring the treantment method and therapy of mental disorder after the organ transplatation of our citizens. And set up the first psychological follow-up library for donate organ transplant patients.Method1. With the method of literature review and collectiion, filtrating three screening scales (nine personality scale, the Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Checklist-Civilian Version (PCL-C), self-evaluation of anxiety scale (SAS)).2. Using reasonable, professional and systematic psychological research methods to roundly survey, treat and research the OPO organ transplant recipients, and using reasonabel treatment (such as hypnosis, meditation) to solve patients postoperative psychological problems.ResultsUsing the existing resurces, this study summarizes the deficiencies and defects of OPO organ transplantation patients’mental health status in the current study, and analyzes its development mechanism and influencing factors from a psychological point. This study use the method such as psychology, sociology, philosophy and statistics, using psychological scale as medium, adopting holistic view psychological interventions, obtained first hand information of the OPO organ transplantation, laiding a solid foundation for building the organ transplantation psychological health follow-up library.ConclusionFirst, this study found that although compared with the past " condemned prisoner organ transplantation", the OPO organ transplantation patients’ mental health status has a certain advantage, in the case of out of sample less,OPO organ transplantation patients’mental health status still worrying, the total prevalence rate is23.53%, including16.67%of men and33.33%of women.Second, this study found that women are easier to show the anxiety after organ transplantation, and compared to men, the ablility to resistposttraumatic stress disorder is not dominate. Women first SAS test prevalence is28.57%, and men is16.67%; Women first PTSD test prevalence is19.04%, and men is10.00%Thrid, the study found that the organ transplantation patients personality is different, so temporarily it unable to identify the prvalence of which kind of personality is high and low. But after the analysis of individual differences, combining with the general tendency of personality and using the ideas of the holistic view is helpful to the intervention therapy of the patients. It has better effect to do the intergrative treatment to the patients with psychological disorders. Through the treatment, the total prevalence is7.84%.Fourth, through the intervention treatment, the improvement of anxiety is relatively obvious. In general terms, SAS test prevalence is21.57%before treatment,5.88%after treatment, and PTSD test prevalence is13.73%before treatment,7.84%after treatment.Fifth, through case interview, this study found the appearance of lots of anxiety symptoms is because of lack of knowledge of organ transplantation and the fear of death.
