The rapid development of techniques of organ transplantation has significantly prolonged the survival time and improved the life quality of patients. The procedure of organ transplantation is complicated. Leaving aside the technical aspects, the shortage of organ transplants is another factor which hampered its development. It is because of the scarcity of organs that organ transplantation is only performed on selected patients. In the absence of unified, objective, open standards for organ allocation and the lack of effective management and legal measures, it is very difficult to fairly distribute the organ transplants. Organ transplantation had been developed for years in foreign countries. Our foreign counterparts are not only mature in techniques, but also had complete systems in the aspect of transplant allocation, management and legal measures. Although the problem of organ transplants shortage still remained unsolved, organ transplantion can be carried out orderly, thus the unfairness in transplant allocation is successfully avoided.According to domestic and international experience, I had summed up the organ transplant allocation criteria which are based on the specific conditions of China. Through a profound analysis of the unfairness in organ transplants allocation in China, I had proposed relevant solutions aiming to avoid the unfairness in the process of organ transplantation.
