ObjectiveThe aim of this research is to study the clinical curative effects and safety of acupuncture on treating atopic dermatitis with spleen deficiency and Wet aggregates, thus providing an effective acupuncture treatment conducive to the promotion. MethodsSixty patients who met the pixu type wet aggregates atopic dermatitis were included in the study. They were randomly divided into Chinese medicine group (control group) and acupuncture and Chinese medicine group (treatment group).4weeks for1course of treatment, treatment3period of treatment. Before treatment,4weeks after treatment, treatment after8weeks,12weeks after treatment were observed and recorded in patients with SCORAD scores, skin disease quality of life questionnaire, insomnia severity index (ISI), and other data, and according to standard level4curative effect evaluation of curative effect, then draw the conclusion.Results1SCORAD scores:①Intra-group comparison:The comparisons between the4and8and12weeks after treatment with before the treatment all have statistical significance (P<0.05);②Comparison among groups:After treatment of4weeks and8weeks the change of SCORAD value have no statistical significance,(P=0.137>0.05); But after12weeks treatment its SCORAD value changes with statistical significance (P=0.045<0.05), which indicates the treatment group has advantages in improving skin lesions and itch of atopic dermatitis.2VAS score:①Intra-group comparison:The comparisons between the4and8and12weeks after treatment with before the treatment all have statistical significance (P<0.05);②Comparison among groups:After4weeks treatment the change of VAS values was statistically significant (P=0.017<0.05), but after8weeks and12weeks treatment its VAS values change have no statistical significance.(P=0.431>0.05). It shows that in the first4weeks acupuncture is more effective to decrease itch.3DLQI:①Intra-group comparison:The comparisons between the4and8and12weeks after treatment with before the treatment all have statistical significance (P<0.05);②Comparison among groups:After4weeks and8weeks and12weeks treatment the DLQI value changes were not statistically significant.(P=0.516>0.05), which indicates that both of them can improve the quality of life of atopic dermatitis, but there is no difference in this two groups.4ISI scores:①Intra-group comparison:The comparisons between the4and8and12weeks after treatment with before the treatment all have statistical significance (P<0.05);②Comparison among groups, after4weeks and12weeks treatment its ISI value changes have statistical significance.(P=0.037<0.05), but after8weeks its ISI rating shows no statistical significance between the two groups.(P=0.154>0.05), which indicates that the treatment group can significantly improve the sleep quality of patients than the control group.5Level4standard to assess effects:Two group total effective rate,(P>0.05), shows no statistically significant difference. Though both of them have remarkable curative effect, however there is no evidence prove that the treatment group has a better curative effect; But the marked effectiveness and cure rate was statistically significant (P<0.05), which indicates that acupuncture can improve the healing rate of atopic dermatitis who use of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment.Conclusion1Acupuncture treatment was able to provide for significant improvement of the markedly effective and healing levels in atopic dermatitis patients with treatment of chinese medicine intake.2The itching and sleep quality of Atopic dermatitis can be significantly improved by acupuncture.
