The Study On Rules Of Prescriptions For Chronic Atrophic Gastritis Based On The Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)Inheritance Support System

ObjectiveBased on using the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System (V2.0), to sum up Professor Yu Shaoyuan’s experience and the regularity of prescription of treating chronic atrophic gastritis, is conducive to carry forward the experience of TCM, and provides reference and ideas for TCM to treat chronic atrophic gastritis.MethodThis research includes two parts:the literature researching and the data mining. Literature researching is mainly analyzing and studying the literature from the two aspects of traditional Chinese medicine and Western Medicine on the etiology and the pathogenesis and the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis.Data mining is mining data of prescriptions by Professor Yu Shaoyuan to treat chronic atrophic gastritis based on the TCMISS. The study collects172prescriptions of83cases of chronic atrophic gastritis patients’outpatient prescription from out-patient admissions by Professor Yu Shaoyuan in Guangdong Province Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital from2010to2013, and then uses the TCMISS to analyze the experience of Professor Yu Shaoyuan in treating chronic atrophic gastritis with prescription.ResultThrough the analysis of outpatient prescriptions in172prescriptions of83patients in treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis by Professor Yu Shaoyuan from2010to2013, the frequency of each herb and association rules among herbs included in the database are computed, In addition125flavor drug,62drug combinations,12core combinations with3-4flavor drug and6new prescriptions for treating chronic atrophic gastritis are mined from the database.ConclusionProfessor Yu Shaoyuan believes that chronic atrophic gastritis is mainly caused by the interaction of deficiency and blood stasis and toxin, and prescribes two types of Medicine which can tonifying and promoting the circulation of Qi or clearing away heat and toxic material to treat of chronic atrophic gastritis. The Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System (V2.0) is a new data mining software, and with some scientific to sum up Professor Yu Shaoyuan’s regularity of prescription of treating chronic atrophic gastritis. It can input the data of patients for managing and analyzing, which help to establish archives and discover new prescriptions of traditional Chinese Medicine. However, the new prescriptions are only staying on the theoretical level. Their application shall combine with clinical judgment and further clinical trials to prove the rationality.
