The Study On Rules Of Prescriptions For Wang Shusheng Treating Prostate Cancer Based On Data Mining

ObjectiveThe purpose of this study is to statistically analyze the regularity of Professor Wang Shusheng’s medication for prostate cancer through the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System(Version 2.5,TCMISS).It is helpful to summarize the common characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)for prostate cancer,and to better discover the prescriptions and new prescriptions of TCM for the prevention and treatment of prostate cancer.The development of virtuous circulation brings a promoting effect,and also provides new ideas for the induction,summary and innovative research of clinical experience,and also provides a theoretical basis for the development of effective in-hospital preparations.MethodsOur study includes two parts:literature research and data mining.Literature research mainly focuses on the etiology,pathogenesis,and treatment progress of traditional Chinese and western medicine for prostate cancer.Data mining is to retrieve the electronic medical records of prostate cancer patients admitted by Professor Wang Shusheng from January 1,2009 to January 1,2020 through the outpatient medical records system of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine.TCMISS can be used to enter data and then perform data mining by frequency statistics,cluster analysis,rule analysis,improved mutual information method,entropy clustering method for complex systems,and unsupervised entropy hierarchical clustering method.It is helpful for summing up Professor Wang Shusheng’s prescriptions for the treatment of prostate cancer and the preliminary discussion of new prescriptions,which will help build a network resource sharing platform for clinical experience of Chinese medicine.ResultsAn comprehensive analysis of 200 outpatient prescriptions of 200 prostate cancer patients treated by Professor Wang Shusheng was conducted using the TCMISS.The results included 33 main clinical symptoms,8 syndrome types,and 132 Chinese medicines.Chinese medicines that appear more than 50 times are as follows:licorice,astragalus,atractylodes,eucommia ulmoides,Poria,tangerine peel,lobelia,yam,ginseng,dogwood,ganoderma lucidum,whole scorpion,Morinda officinalis,Hedyotis diffusa,Codonopsis sibirica,combined spicebush root.Among them,the medicinal properties are warm,sweet,and belong to the kidney meridians and their efficacy is tonic deficiency.These drugs account for the largest proportion.The analysis results of the formula prescription suggest that when the support is set to 100 and the confidence is 0.9,36 data can be obtained,which contains 7 Chinese medicines;when the support is reduced to 80,85 data can be obtained,including 11 Chinese medicines;When the support is reduced to 60,298 data can be obtained,including a total of 13 Chinese medicines.Twenty core Chinese medicine combinations and ten new prescriptions can be obtained through entropy clustering of complex systems and unsupervised entropy hierarchical clustering.Conclusion1.Professor Wang Shusheng holds the view that the total etiology and pathogenesis of prostate cancer are renal deficiency,asthenia in origin and asthenia in superficiality,and intermingled deficiency and excess.Professor Wang Shusheng’s medication is precise and flexible,and the party is not eclectic,which reflects Professor Wang Shusheng’s overall treatment principles and medication ideas.2.The TCMISS has data mining methods such as frequency statistics,cluster analysis,rule analysis,improved mutual information method,entropy clustering method for complex systems,and unsupervised entropy hierarchical clustering method.It is scientific to analyze Professor Wang Shusheng’s clinical experience for treating prostate cancer.At the same time,the system can be used to establish a clinical database of patients,which is convenient for the management and research of medical workers.3.Traditional Chinese medicine has certain advantages in treating prostate cancer,which can significantly improve the quality of life of patients and prolong the life cycle.The development of modern science and technology also provides a powerful technical guarantee for the data mining of clinical data of traditional Chinese medicine.However,it is still a long and high-responsible way to finish this work.
