So we proposal through comparison and analysis the change of "saliva amylase activity ratio" and symptoms improve condition before and after treatment of spleen-asthenia patients to research the correlation of the "saliva amylase activity ratio" and the main clinical symptom com-bination of spleen-asthenia patients, Try to make "saliva amylase activi-ty ratio" and spleen deficiency of four clinical performance characteris-tics closely integrated,·preliminary discussed the microcosmic syndrome differentiation of spleen deficiency.Methods1. Clinicaltrials:This case study from the first affiliated hospital of guangzhou university of TCM, which have chronic superficial gastritis and spleen deficiency.3.To make clincal information registration form and record patients’c-linical information detailedly, then to quantify the symptoms score.4. Determining patients saliva amylase activity ratio of before and after treatment respectively, then through cluster analysis and multiple linear regression and correlation analysis to analyze the correlation of saliva amylase activity ratio and the combinations of symptoms of spleen deficiencyResults1.The relationship between the combination of stomachache, abdominal pain, coldness of the body and limbs and saliva amylase activity ratio is more closely.2. There are significant linear negative correlation between saliva amylase activity ratio and anorexia of the before and after treatment.3. The combination of stomachache, gasteremphraxis, coldness of the body and limbs have more closer relationship with the variation of saliva amylase activity ratio, in addition, there are significant linear positive correlation between stomachache, gasteremphraxis and saliva amylase active-ty ratio;there are significant linear negative correlation between saliv-a amylase activity ratio and coldness of the body and limbs. Before treat-ment, the combination symptoms’regression effect to the variation of sal-iva amylase activity ratio is higher than after treatment,(before treatm-ent:R2=0.880, after treatment R2=0.784)4. Through the treatment of xiangsha liujunzi soup, the symptoms of spleen-asthenia patients are improve significantly.Conclusion1. The relationship between the combination of symptoms which is clos-ely related to spleen-yang deficiency and saliva amylase activity ratio is more closely.2. Salivary amylase activity ratio is negatively related to the anorexia in a straight line, prompt saliva amylase, as a kind of digestive enzymes is closely related to digestion and absorption function which also is transport function of the spleen. But it is not a principal cause of saliva amylase activity change.3. The change of saliva amylase activity ratio have a complex mechanis-m, which is specificity correlation of the combination of symptoms that contains stomachache, gasteremphraxis, coldness of the body and limbs and is more significant when the ratio is low. The reduce of saliva amylase activity ratio reflects the symptoms of deficiency, especially when the sp-leen Yang deficiency.
