This dissertation is composed of four chapters. The first chapter included the isolation and identification of compounds from Caragana sinica.The second chapter studied the antioxidant, a-glucosidase inhibitory and coagulant activity of different extracts from C. sinica. The thirdchapter studied the volatiles from C. sinica. The fourchapter summarized the progress of chemical constituent and pharmaceutical activity of C.genus.Chapter1. The chemical constituents of Caragana sinicaThe chemical constituents from the C. sinica were studied by column chromatography. Fourteen compounds were isolated and identifiedas β-sitosterol(1), a-amyrin(2),β-amyrin(3), lupeol(4),betulinic acid(5),ursolic acid(6).Chapter2. The biological activity of Caragana sinica1. DPPH, ABTS, and FRAP assays were used to screen the antioxidant activity of different extracts from C. sinica, EtOAC and n-BuOH extracts from C. sinica showed better antioxidant activity.2. The inhibitory effect against a-glucosidase of different extracts from C. sinica was screened. Petroleum ether, EtOAC and n-BuOH extracts of C. sinica showed stronger inhibitory effect against a-glucosidase, and were much higher than that of acarbose(IC50=1103.0μg·mL-1).3. Coagulant activity of C. sinica was assayed in vitro.n-BuOH extract showed the procoagulant effect. Petroleum ether extract showed anticoagulant effectChapter3.The volatiles in the Caragana sinica The volatiles from the C. sinica were analyzed by head-space solid micro-extraction, coupled with GC-MS for the first time.18compounds were identified from theC. trichotomumand account for82.36%of the total volatiles. The fatty acids were the main components, amounting for63.31%of the total.The maincompounds were6-octadecenoic acid(11.96%)and n-hexadecanoic acid(10.81%).Chapter4. The study progress of the genus Caragana FabrThe study progress of landscape application, chemical constituent and pharmaceutical of the Caragana Fabr genus were summarized.
