Objective: To observe the clinical curative effect and changes in immune function oftreating ulcerative colitis with the medicine of Wenyang and explore the mechanism oftreating with these medicine and investigate the mechanism of Wenyang from both clinicaland theoretical researchMethod:40cases diagnosed by electronic colonoscopy and TCM spleen and Kidneydeficiency in patients with active UC Type, which were treated by the medicine of Wenyangfor8weeks, then Observed and statistics the clinical symptoms, colonoscopy change,C-reactive protein and T lymphocyte subsets level.Results:⑴Mayo Disease Activity Index Points: The Mayo points after treatment is significantlyreduced compared with before treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.01)⑵Comprehensive analysis of the clinical efficacy: After treatment,16cases werecomplete remission,19cases were markedly effective,in3cases were effective,2cases wereineffective, the total efficiency rate was95%.⑶Analysis of TCM symptoms change: After treatment, the TCM symptoms wereimproved significantly.⑷Scores of TCM symptom:After treatment, the scores of TCM symptom weredecreased significantly, the difference was statistically significant(P﹤0.01).⑸Analysis of the efficacy of TCM symptoms: the total effective rate was92.5%.⑹The level of C-reactive Protein:The C-reactive protein levels that from Peripheralblood of40patients after treatment were significantly reduced, the difference wasstatistically significant (P <0.01).⑺The level of T lympho cyte subsets: the level of T cell subsets that including CD4+and CD4+/CD8+were significantly increased after treatment, the difference was statisticallysignificant (P <0.01);The level of T cell subsets that including the CD3+was increased and the CD8+decreased after treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05).⑻Safety Analysis: There were no adverse reactions during treatment in the40patientsafter treatment. Conclusions:The method of Wenyang were showed significant effectiveness in relievingsymptoms and improving aspects of humoral immune status, it was also playing animportant role in intestinal mucosal repair, adjust aspects of humoral immunity, and caneffectively alleviate inflammation. The mechanism may lie in its ability to effectivelyregulate the levels of T cell subsets absolutely or relatively,so It cuolde Adjust the imbalanceof T lymphocyte subsets, to cure or alleviate the symptoms and reduce the recurrence.
