Indexes of nutritional status such as hemoglobin (HB), total lymphocyte count (TLC), serum total protein (TP), serum albumin (Alb), serum prealbumin (PA) and transferrin (TRF) were measured on one day before chemotherapy, three days after chemotherapy and seven days after chemotherapy.Results1. There are no significant differences between the two groups on weight (P>0.05);2. The dietary case of treatment group was improved as compared with the control group. The improvement has significant differences (P<0.05);3. Seven days after chemotherapy, all the indexes of nutritional status between the two groups have significant differences (P<0.05)ConclusionBazhen Decoction assisted with TPF-T can positively improve the nutritional status, improve the quality of life in patients with postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy of colon cancer.
