Objective:To investigate the clinical and pathological characteristics of gastric polyps under endoscopy,to provide the clinical basis for the diagnosis and treatment of gastric polyps. Methods:A total of111cases of patients with gastric polyps from January2011to January2013at The First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University were enrolled, and endoscopic, pathological and surgical data were retrospectively analyzed.Results:In this study, aged patients (≥60years) was high-risk population of gastric polyps (56.8%);80(72.1%) cases were single polyp and31(27.9%) cases were multiple ones; most gastric polyps (53.2%) were located in gastric body; diameter≤0.5cm was seen in69.4%of gastric polyps; hyperplastic polyps (40.5%) and inflammatory polyps (33.3%) were the predominant gastric polyps. Thirty gastric polyp patients were resected by biopsy forceps clamp,54by endoscopic submucosal injection with0.9%NaCl solution combined with high frequency electric removal,6by EMR and4by ESD, while17patients had surgery. Twelve patients had follow-up,2of them had recurrence.ConcIusions:Most gastric polyps are single with small diameter, mostly locate in gastric body, and hyperplastic polyps are the predominant type.The main treatment is endoscopic resection, and it may recur, and follow-up should be emphasized.
