Rukuaixiao is made up of six Chinese traditional medicines which are Tangerine leaf, Salvia Miltrorrhiza, Semen Vaccariae, Spina Gleditsiae, Szechwan Chinaberry Fruit and Lumbricus. It can regulate Qi by alleviation of mental depress, promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis and clear off coagulated milk. Rukuaixiao has many heat-sensitive components. It has to remove water to guarantee the quality of medicines in the process of concentrateing liquid into powder and pressing powder into pills. Microwave drying in vacuum is different from the traditional vacuum-drying. It was a fast and effective method of moving water. Furthermore, compared with the vacuum-drying the Microwave drying in vacuum was more timesaving and effective. The drying process of Rukuaixiao was studied in this paper in order to increase the effective components of Chinese medicine to retain and improve the quality of Rukuaixiao medicine. At the same time, it also supply science dates for practical application of microwave vacuum drying technology to the production of traditional Chinese medicine.The HPLC conditions of Tanshinone IIA were as follows:ODS C18Reversed Phase Columns (id.4.6x250mm,5μm) as the stationary phase, 1mL/min of flow rate, the mobile phase was methanol-water-acetic acid(85:15:l,v/v/v), the detection wavelength was260nm, retention time was12.7min, for the Tanshinone IIA, the calibration equation was Y=2×106X-41775, R2=0.9995.In this paper, A method of quantitative analysis of rukuaixiao was developed. The products were determined by HPLC, UV and IR and build a Fingerprint Spectrum to compare the changes before and after. The optimal conditions were as follows:The detection wavelength was280nm, the mobile phase was methanol-water-0.1%acetic acid. The method was evaluated and proved to have good precision, reproducibility and stability.The effect of various experimental conditions, such as drying time, drying temperature, microwave power in the process of Microwave vacuum drying of Transhinone ⅡA extract on the percentage reservation of Transhinone ⅡA were investigated. Results showed that the drying process is divided into pre-drying, drying and constant-velocity drying and a maximum of91.5%of Tanshinone ⅡA was remained when the vacuum pressure was-0.08Mpa to-0.09MPa and drying power was at750W. The effect of various experimental conditions, such as drying time, drying temperature, microwave power and sample loading in the process of Microwave vacuum drying of Rukuaixiao powder on removing water were investigated. The Optimum conditions were:Moisture content was from above7%to below4%when initial temperature was20℃, thickness of medicine was4cm, the power was750W, drying time was21min and the vacuum was-0.08Mpa. It complied with national requirements and demands of the factory.The effect of various experimental conditions, such as drying time, drying temperature, microwave power and sample loading in the process of Microwave vacuum drying of Rukuaixiao Tablet on removing water were investigated. The Optimum conditions were:Moisture content was below4%from6.81%when drying temperature was38℃, Microwave vacuum drying power was150W, drying time was30min and the dry vacuum was-0.08Mpa. It complied with national requirements and demands of the factory.
