GP (Gypenosides) is a chemical component in Gynostemma herb plants, and is atetracyclic triterpenoid dammarane saponins, variety, has been isolated and purified up to142much. Many of which have a similar structure gypenosides and ginsenosides, Gyp-â…¢, â…£, â…¦,â…« respectively, and four kinds of ginsenoside-Rb1, Rb3, Rd, F2is the same thing differentnames. In addition to the structure, and ginseng gypenosides are very similar in terms ofpharmacology and health effects, it will Gynostemma as "Southern Ginseng".On the basis of the chemical composition of gypenosides overview of its variouspharmacological effect on macroporous resin repeated HPLC purification and preparationisolated from purified gypenosides in three characteristic components, according to theirphysical and chemical properties, chemical method, combined with ultraviolet (UV), infrared(IR), mass spectrometry (MS) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectra of the fourspectral data analysis, the three gypenosides structural identification, identified the threesaponins were to Gyp XLIX (gypenosides A), gypenosides â…§ (ginsenosides Rd) andgypenosides â…¦ (ginsenoside F2). After, three saponins as the reference to five differentformulations gypenosides preparations and10batches gypenosides tablet as experimentalmaterial, the use of better detection methods have been established, its establishedHPLC-ELSD fingerprints and quantitative characteristics of the three components analysis,completed the quality of different forms and different batches gypenosides preparation.Experimental results show that10batches gypenosides tablet fingerprint similaritygreater than0.977, compared with three characteristics of the ingredients small difference,indicating their contents more uniform, more stable quality. Different formulationsGypenosides preparations fingerprint similarity greater than0.837, indicating their contentsmore uniform, but the three characteristic components or whether the sum of the threemonomer content monomer content are different, the quality is very unstable. The results ofthis study will provide useful information for production and quality controlling ofGypenosides preparations.
