Objective: To date, although at home and abroad nurse competency module more, but how to use less effective means of mechanisms to enhance the study of operating room equipment nurses competency, and therefore what kind of effective evaluation for the selection and training of high performance The operating room equipment nurses has become an urgent need hospital operating room management. Therefore, this paper will attempt to use a variety of methods to build a scientific and rational instrument operating room nurse competency evaluation system, provide a theoretical basis for improving the overall quality of operating room equipment nurses.Methods: literature method, in-depth interviews, open-ended questionnaire prepared primary evaluation instrument operating room nurses. Delphi expert consultation and the application of 15 experts working in the operating room nursing consultation questionnaire, this study questionnaires were conducted two rounds of consultation, to determine the competency evaluation instruments operating room nurses. Application of Excel spreadsheet data entry, SPSS13.0 software for data analysis and processing, and finally build the operating room equipment nurses competency evaluation system.Results:(1) the basic situation and the extent of the authority of experts for qualitative and quantitative analysis, explained the expert has good authority. Through the issuance of two rounds of questionnaires and the effective rate was 100%, indicating that the experts in this study have a high enthusiasm; two rounds of expert-level indicators of coordination coefficients were 0.204 and 0.292, coordination coefficient of secondary indicators were 0.065 and 0.256, chi-square test P value ≦ 0.05, statistically significant, indicating a good level of coordination expert advice.(2) Construction of the operating room instrument competency evaluation system: ① knowledge and skills(including the operating room nursing knowledge, medical knowledge, master aseptic technique, familiar with the performance and application of surgical instruments, preoperative preparation and surgery with 5 secondary indicators), ② professional quality(including a sense of responsibility, sense of service, dedication, practices, physical, and moral qualities six secondary indexes), ③ professional attitude(including work carefully, mentally alert, Cautiousness spirit, safety awareness, dedication, empathy six secondary indexes), ④ professional competence(including communication, coordination, emergency response capabilities, ability to cooperate, research and innovation capability of self-control six secondary indexes), ⑤ personality traits( including self-confidence, resistance to stress, inclusive, patience, self-image five secondary indexes), ⑥ teaching and training(including training capacity, teaching ability two secondary indexes), this evaluation system consists of six one indicators, 30 secondary indicators constitution.Conclusion: Through literature, interviews, open-ended questionnaire and Delphi method to construct the operating room equipment nurses competency evaluation system. Including the six-level indicators, 30 secondary indicators, and the connotation of each evaluation index made a more detailed analysis. On the basis of results, operating room equipment nurses competency evaluation system for enhancing the operating room equipment nurses competency, so that it can adapt to the job requirements; selecting and training of specialist nurses standardization has important practical significance.
