objective to summarize the incidence of portal vein tumor thrombus(PVTT) in patients of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),and to investigate the relevant risk factors affecting the formation of PVTT in patients with HCC in order to improve the overall understanding and provide the basis for better therapeutic effect..Methods we retrospectively analyzed the clinical datas, imaging findings and biochemical examinations to calculate the incidence of PVTT in 67 patients with HCC during the period from Sep 2013 to Sep 2014. According imaging and surgical exploration results, divided into 22 cases with portal vein thrombosis group and 45 patients without portal vein thrombosis. Age, sex, center location of cancer, the basis of liver cirrhosis, state of HBs-Ag, Child-Pugh, ascites, portal hypertension, upper gastrointestinal bleeding, ALT, AST, ALP, GGT, TBIL, ALB, AFP, PT, PLT, etc, were calculated to analysis the correlationg between PVTT and these factors by using single variate analysis and multivariate logistic regression method.Result The incidence of PVTT in patients with HCC was 32.8%.The single variate analysis indicated that ALT,ALP,GGT,AFP, Child-Pugh, ascites, portal hypertension, upper gastrointestinal bleeding perform a close relationship with formation of PVTT in HCC. The multivariate logistic regression indicated that ALP,GGT,AFP, ascites perform a close relationship with formation of PVTT in HCC.Conclusion the incidence of PVTT in patients of HCC is high, ALP,GGT,AFP and ascites were easier to induce the formation of PVTT in HCC. They were independent risk factors for the formation of PVTT in HCC.
