Rhododendron nathopogonoides is one of the sources of Tibetan medicine "Dali", as the Ericaceae plant, the medicinal parts is dried flowers and leaves of Rhododendron anthopogonoides Maxim.、Rhododendron cephalanthum Franch. and Rhododendron primulaeflarum Bur. et Franch. It is rich in volatile substances and has the effect of antitussive, expectorant, dilate blood vessels and bacteriostasis, like as Six kinds of Thlaspi arvense powder, Fifteen flavour Black pills, Sixteen kinds of Rhododendron pill and so on. It has good curative effect, and is gradually accepted and recognized by the people. Rhododendron anthopogonoides is one of the Minority Medicine commonly used in the five northwestern provinces."The drug standard of Ministry of public health" in Tibetan medicine fascicule, it fixs the character, leaf microscopic identification, chemical reaction identification and the determination of volatile oil of Rhododendron anthopogonoides. On the basis of this,the experiment was combined with the national drug regulatory departments at the present stage of Chinese medicinal materials quality requirements and the existing experimental conditions,Micro and TLC, determination of flavonoids, volatile oil content and two kinds of exogenous contaminant residue were increased in this experiment.It further improve the requirements of quality control of Rhododendron anthopogonoides by analysising and comparison of the obtained data. However, due to the small number of samples, limited experimental ideas and time, the measured data does not fully reflect the merits of its quality, Therefore, this article only tentatively Rhododendron anthopogonoides improve research quality standards.1、 Rhododendron anthopogonoides quality standards to improve research:First, through the Rhododendron anthopogonoides resources research, increasing the powder microscopic identification spend microscopic identification of the original, and a more comprehensive description of the microscopic characteristics strongly fragrant leaves and flowers; Secondly, through multiple exploration and screening, and ultimately determine the TLC method of alcohol-soluble substances and volatile oil. Finally, by the determination of moisture, ash, volatile oil extract and a series of data, combined with the actual medicinal parts, tentatively set its limit standards.2、Determination of flavonoids:Use HPLC method for simultaneous determination of rutin, hyperoside, quercetin glycosides and other six kinds flavonoids in Rhododendron anthopogonoides。Then use SPSS 19.0 software to analyze its principal component, initially identified kaempferol and quercetin glycosides Isorhamnetin for Rhododendron anthopogonoides in three main ingredients flavonoids。3、Determination of volatile oil components:Detect the volatile oil from leaves, flowers of Gansu and Anhui region Rhododendron anthopogonoides by Using GC-MS techniques, and compared the difference of volatile oil components in different parts and different areas of the same parts of the same region, this results provide the basis for genuine research Rhododendron anthopogonoides.4、Determination of inorganic metallic elements:Based on heavy metal residue determination in 2010 edition of "Chinese Pharmacopoeia" Appendix, aluminum, vanadium, cobalt, silver, molybdenum, chromium and other 10 kinds of metals were determined of 13 batches of Rhododendron anthopogonoides sample, the results showed that in 13 batches Rhododendron anthopogonoides,2 batches excessive copper, lead, arsenic exceeding 1 each batch, no excessive cadmium samples for the other elements are not required in the pharmacopoeia made preliminary limits drawn.5、Determination of aflatoxin residues:Aflatoxin toxin were measured by accordancing the detection method in appendix "Chinese Pharmacopoeia" 2010 edition of 13 sample batches Rhododendron anthopogonoides.the results of aflatoxin (B1, B2, G1, G2) were not detected when the drug storage environment better generally does not produce aflatoxin, but only 13 batches of samples tested, fewer, not to in with determine the limits of indicators.6、Complement the quality standards improment and the developed drafting instructions of Rhododendron anthopogonoides.
