Objective:Using the method of PG-SGA to investigate the nutritional conditions in Xingtai people’s hospital of gastric cancer patients. To understand nutrition status and nutrition support treatment in patients with gastric cancer in Xingtai people’s hospital nowadays.Methods:1 We choose oncology pathological diagnosis of gastric cancer patients with chemotherapy from June 2013 to December 2014 in Xingtai people’s hospital in our study, all the patients meeting with eligibility criteria recieved nutrition status and nutrition support treatment for one month. Using PG-SGA as nutritional status assessment tool, including: body mass index, feeding conditions, symptoms, activities, physical function, the relationship between disease and nutritional needs, metabolic needs, physical examination. The listed seven aspects evaluate the nutritional status among the patients with gastric cancer.2 We use SPSS13.0 to analysis the basic data. Clinical data collected by statistic description, first the normality and homogeneity of variance test of each experimental group, if the independent sample data obey the normality and homogeneity of variance, the measurement data in(?x + s),check it by t test; if the data meets the correlation bivariate normality, linear correlation analysis with Pearson, if not meet the application conditions we use Spearman rank correlation correlation analysis. Compared with three or more than three independent samples of fully independent multi sample single factor analysis of variance comparison, analysis of variance differences, such as further two-two, by the method of LSD. If the data does not satisfy the normality and homogeneity of variance, adopt a plurality of independent samples to compare Kruskal-Wallis H nonparametric test, a further two- two were compared using analysis of variance of rank transformation, the level of test set for α=0.05, with P<0.05 considered to have significant difference.Results:1 This research investigated 99 cases of gastric cancer patients, including 73 men(73.73%) and 26 women(26.37%); 5 cases(5.06%) of patients in good nutritional condition, mild/moderate malnutrition counted 54 cases(54.54%), severe malnutrition occupying 40.40%. 43 patients(43.43%) received nutrition supporting, no nutrition supporting counted 56 cases(56.57%) respectively. Enteral nutrition combined with parenteral nutrition supporting were 9 cases(9.09%), simple enteral nutrition supporting comprising 17 cases(17.17%), simple parenteral nutrition supporting containing17 cases(17.17%).2 Compared well-nourished patients with mild/moderate malnutrition and severe malnutrition patients, showing that their age distribution are different, the difference is statistical significantly(P < 0.05); Compared severe malnutrition patients with mild/moderate malnutrition and well- nourished patients, their BMI were differed, with statistically significant(P<0.05).3 Comparing the correlation between PG-SGA total score(patients) with PG-SGA(staff) shows that patients in good nutritional status, patients with mild-to-moderate malnutrition and severe malnutrition in patients their correlation were 0.97, 0.90, 0.96, respectively, with statistical significance(P <0.05). NRS2002 ratings also has correlation with total hospitalization time, the correlation coefficient is 0.22, with statistical significance(P<0.05).4 The analysis in different groups of patients about hospital cost, the average hospitalization cost is 12148 yuan in well-nourished patients, patients with mild/moderate malnutrition has an average hospitalization cost of 20293 yuan, the average hospitalization cost is 24189 yuan in severe malnutrition patients. And meanwhile, the result showing that well-nourished patients and severe malnutrition patients in hospital cost is different, the difference is statistical significantly(P<0.05).5 The analysis of BMI index in patients received nutritional therapy, patients with enteral and parenteral nutrition therapy compared with simple parenteral nutrition therapy, whose BMI distribution is the same, there was no statistical significantly(P>0.05). The analysis about nutrition therapy patients’ cost in hospital: To interior and exterior combination therapy of the patients, whose average hospitalization cost is 45933 yuan; simple enteral nutrition therapy patients, whose average hospitalization cost is 8012 yuan, simple parenteral nutrition therapy of the patients, whose average hospitalization cost is 38603 yuan. Receiving simple enteral nutrition therapy patients’ hospitalization expenses is much more lower than the other two groups, statistical significantly(P<0.05).6 The analysis about the serum biochemical in patients received the nutritional therapy, serum albumin level is 36.27±4.66,the total protein level is 61.04±9.34; On the contrary, patients without nutritional treatment serum biochemical are listed: serum albumin 38.71±5.92, the total protein level is 66.82±8.08. The above two results are vary, with statistical significantly(P <0.05).7 Concerning about patients who received nutritional therapy, whose BMI is 19.52±3.06, triceps skin fold(TSF) is 7.20±3.70 mm, upper arm muscle(MAMC) is 18.44±6.89 mm. Patients who did not receive the nutritional therapy, whose BMI index is 21.72±3.44, triceps skin fold(TSF) is 9.52±5.41 mm, upper arm muscle(MAMC) was 21.18±4.61 mm. The above three results are vary, with statistical significantly(P<0.05).8 The ages distribution in patients with and without nutrition therapy are 63.56±10.25 and 62.81±10.41, which was no statistically difference(P > 0.05). Cartesian score and NRS2002 in these two groups are 68.60±15.21, 57.00±11.34 and 84.07±10.37, 52.39±8.29, separately. The above two results vary, with statistical significantly(P<0.05).Conclusion: Hospitalized patients with gastric cancer associated with a greater incidence of malnutrition. Severe malnutrition patients always accompany with dropping BMI levels and high hospitalization cost. Nutrition supporting treatment utilization rate is low, relatively. Patients who admitted into nutrition supporting treatment had already in a bad condition, whose serum albumin level, the total protein level, BMI idex, triceps skin fold(TSF) and arm muscle diameter is relatively low. Patients in a lower body index condition, feeling bad or not, should be given nutritional treatment. These characters are more sensitive compared with others, which can be used as a necessary nutrition therapy prognostic indicator from some aspects.
