Objectives: To investigate the expressions of CEACAM1, CEACAM6 and VEGF in colorectal cancer, colorectal adenoma and normal colorectal mucosa, analyze their expression characteristics and relationship, study their relationship with MVD(marked by CD34 protein), analyze their relationship and prognosis value, in order to provide theoretical support for neoplasm study. Methods: The study included 90 cases of colorectal adenocarcinoma as observation group(49 cases without lymph node metastasis, 41 cases with lymph node metastasis. 30 cases with well-differentiated, 33 cases with moderately differentiated and 27 cases with poorly differentiated). 50 cases with colorectal adenoma were collected as control group. 10 cases with normal colorectal mucosa were collected as normal control group. Expressions of CEACAM1, CEACAM6, VEGF and CD34 were detected by IHC in three groups, Their clinical characteristic comparison and relationship were analyzed in neoplasm.Results:1.The positive rate of CEACAM1 were 53.30% in the observation group, 26.00% in the control group, 0.00% in normal control group respectively. By stasistical analysis, expression of CEACAM1 were obviously significant in the three groups. The positive rate of CEACAM6 were 44.44% in the observation group, 8.00% in the control group, 0.00% in normal control group respectively. By stasistical analysis, expression of CEACAM6 were obviously significant in the three groups. The positive rate of VEGF were 56.67% in the observation group, 38.00% in the control group, 0.00% in normal control group respectively. By stasistical analysis, expression of VEGF were obviously significant in the three groups. The MVD value were 30.66±4.95 in observation group, 22.94±5.42 in control group, 19.00±4.35 in normal control group. By stasistical analysis, MVD value were obviously significant in the three groups. 2.The expressions of CEACAM1, CEACAM6 and VEGF were correlated with differentiation, lymph node metasis, clinical stage, diameter and muscle layer invasion in observation group(P>0.05). But their expressions were not correlated with ages, sex and neoplasm location(P<0.05). MVD value were correlated with differentiation, lymph node metasis, clinical stage, diameter and muscle layer invasion in observation group(P>0.05). But MVD value were not correlated with ages, sex and neoplasm location. 3.Positive correlation between CEACAM1 and MVD, CEACAM6 and MVD, VEGF and MVD in observation group by linear analysis(P<0.05). 4.The expressions of CEACAM1, CEACAM6 and VEGF, MVD value were correlated with prognosis by survival analysis. Namely higher expressions of CEACAM1, CEACAM6, VEGF and MVD value were poorly prognosis. Conclusions: 1.No expressions of CEACAM1, CEACAM6, VEGF and MVD in normal colorectal tissue, the expressions of CEACAM1, CEACAM6, VEGF and MVD were higher in the observation group than other two groups. The expressions of CEACAM1, CEACAM6 and VEGF maybe early diagnostic index in colorectal carcinoma.2.The expressions of CEACAM1, CEACAM6, VEGF and MVD value were correlated with differentiation, lymph node metastais, clinical stage, diameter and muscle layer invasion. The expressions of CEACAM1, CEACAM6, VEGF and MVD value were not correlated with age, sex and location. Namely the higher expressions with CEACAM1, CEACAM6, VEGF and MVD value have important implications in biological behaviors and development, maybe progrostic index.3.The protein of CEACAM1, CEACAM6, VEGF and MVD value are correlated in colorectal adneocarcinoma. Expressions of CEACAM1, CEACAM6 and VEGF can promote angiogenesis of neoplasm.4.he expressions of CEACAM1 and CEACAM6 can promote the VEGF expression and angiogenesis. The expressions of CEACAM1 and CEACAM6 can promote the occurance, invasion and metastasis in neoplasm. The regulate’s associated study of CEACAM1 and CEACAM6 may influence invasion and metastasis, may offer new target index on treatment.
