Objective Assessment of gestational age is less than the full term temperament and term for gestational age if there is a difference. If there are differences, this paper discusses the differences and to see if there’s a link between intelligence and physical development, as a small full-term gestational age provides the theory basis for early intervention. Methods Retrospectively collected in January 2011 to June 2012 in anhui province children’s hospital pediatric hospital and day age between age 2 to 2 years and 6 months between the small full-term gestational age of 35 cases of groups, and according to the ratio of 1:1 to choose birth cohorts term for gestational age(as control group. The children of two groups were temperament, intellectual and physical development of the assessment;Compare two groups of children temperament, intellectual and physical development of evaluation results.Using self-designed family environment questionnaire to understand children in general, the neonatal period, the mother during pregnancy and perinatal situation.Analysis of the small full-term gestational age and the term for the temperament of gestational age difference and the relationship with its intellectual and physical development.Measurement data using analysis of variance test, counting data using c2 test, P < 0.05 for the difference was statistically significant. Results 1. Small full-term gestational age in type, intermediate partial difficulties and slow start 42.86% incidence of temperament, a term for the incidence ofgestational age at 14.29%(c2=7.00,P<0.05); Small full-term gestational age nine dimensions of temperament activity level(4.21±0.68) a term for gestational age at(3.79±0.63)2. Small full-term gestational age mental development index MDI was(74.54±9.62), below the term suitable for gestational age MDI(88.14±8.85)(t=6.15,P<0.05);Motor development index PDI(74.63±9.60), less than full term suitable for gestational age PDI(89.31±8.56)(t=6.76,P<0.05), Intelligence evaluation < 80 probability is higher than full-term suitable for gestational age, the difference was statistically significant(c2=937,P<0.05).Two groups of temperament type to type, intermediate partial difficulties and slow start temperament of children intelligence index(75.85±12.76) and movement index(76.55±12.18) to lag behind the easy type and middle type with(83.54±10.21)(t=2.65,P<0.05) and(84.14±10.88)(t=2.56,P<0.05), and evaluate the results < 80 probability higher than children with easy type and middle type(c2=3.05,P<0.05)3. Term is less than the height of gestational age(83.03±2.13)cm below term for gestational age(87.67±1.28)cm(t=11.03,P<0.05), and we have 15 cases at about age 2 years old is still in the same gestational age below 10 percentile;Term is less than the weight of gestational age(10.71±1.00)kg below term for gestational age(12.64±1.01)kg(t=8.07,P<0.05), and we have 26 cases at about age 2 years old is still in the same gestational age below 10 percentile;Term is less than the head circumference of gestational age(47.32±0.43)cm below term for gestational age(47.94±0.51)cm(t=5.51,P<0.05), and we have 14 cases at about age 2 years old is still in the same gestational age below 10 percentile; Conclusion Small full-term gestational age in the agreed upon period of time not only physical and mental development lags behind that of the full-term suitable for gestational age, activity level only in temperament nine dimensions term issuitable for low gestational age;The temperament types and slow start trouble than full-term is suitable for high proportion of the gestational age,Type, intermediate partial difficulties and slow start temperament prone to mental development lag behind.
