Clinical Research On Ramuli Cinnamomi Decoctionadded With Puerariae Combining With Needle Warming Moxibustion Of Dazhui Point Treating Cervical Spondylotic Radieulopathy

ObjectivesIn this research, we observe patients that suffer from cervical spondylotic radiaulopathy. We treat patients with ramuli cinnamomi decoction added with puerariae combining with needle warming moxibustion of Dazhui point. Finally, we acquaint ourselves with this treatment’s effect on treating as well as the development of cervical spondylotic radiaulopathy so as to improve the method of treating cervical spondylotic radiaulopathy with needle warming moxibustion combining with traditional Chinese classical prescription.MethodsWe divide 60 patients who suffer from cervical spondylotic radiaulopathy meet the clinic criterion into two groups through random number table.30 patients are treated with ramuli cinnamomi decoction added with puerariae combining with needle warming moxibustion of Dazhui point. Others who treated with acupuncture are used as control group. All patients are treated with the same acupuncture methods as well as acupuncture point. The patients are treated with corresponding methods once a day and the treatment cycle is a week. We add ramuli cinnamomi decoction to the therapy of the treatment group. Patients in treatment group take ramuli cinnamomi decoction once a day. The treatment cycle is a week. We estimate the effect of our treatment about relieving the symptom brought by cervical spondylotic radiaulopathy through Northwick Park Neck Pain Questionnaire.ResultAfter analyzing the data we accumulate, we draw a conclusion that both groups are able to be compared (P>0.05). The effective rate of treatment group is 93.33%, while that of control group is 86.67%. The difference between bothgroup make sense in statistic (P<0.05). It also supports that the treatment applied to treatment group is better than that applied to control group. One course of treatment later, the treatment group’s scores of classic symptoms brought by CSR such as "the pain of neck", "upper limb numbness" as well as "the lasting time of the symptoms" are lower than the control group’ s, which shows that there are significant differences between both groups (P<0.05). It is obvious that treatment that applied to treatment group is better than that applied to control group. During the treatment, no adverse events including halo pin, curved needle, broken needle, hematoma etc.ConclusionBoth of the treatments are effective to CSR, which are able to relieve the clinic symptoms. It’s obvious that apply warming needle on Dazhui Point is of great effect on relieving pain in the jaw line. In a relative short course, warming needle combining with traditional Chinese Medicine is easier to reach the standard of significant effective than pure acupuncture when treating CSR. Traditional Chinese medicine combining with warming needle make clinical sense in treating CSR.
