Management of paracmasis of Bronchial Asthma is a key treatment. Research findings in recent years indicate that there is a close relationship between immunity pathogenesis and reaction imbalance of two cell subsets of T-Helper Cells, Th1 and Th2. Cell factors like IL-2 and IFN-γsecreted by Th1 and IL-3, H-4, IL-5, IL-13 and GM-CSF by Th2 have become the focus of studies. It's said that weakness of Qi and Yang and insufficiency of Wei-Protect is an important intrinsic cause for asthma. It's believed that Chinese medicine has an incomparable advantage than western medicine in the treatment of asthma during the paracmasis. Therefore, Chinese medicine deserves more attention for paracmasis treatment. Ramuli Cinnamomi Decoction enables acridness and sweetness to activate yang; therefore, it aids and inspires Wei-protect and expels pathogen. By keeping Ying and Weiqi in balance and harmonizing Qi and blood to regulate Zangfu-organ, Ramuli Cinnamomi Decoction could reduce recurrent asthma attacks. Therefore, Ramuli Cinnamomi Decoction can be applied in paracmasis treatment of asthma.ObjectiveBased on Chinese traditional understanding of pathogenesy of bronchial asthma, this dissertation puts forward that Ramuli Cinnamomi Decoction might have a good curative effect in paracmasis treatment. There are two major purposes of this study. First, this dissertation aims to illustrate the feasibility to apply Ramuli Cinnamomi Decoction in the paracmasis treatment of asthma. Second, this dissertation proposes a feasible and scientific research plan for the study. It's likely to give academic and clinical support for further study on life quality improvement of asthma patients. It also provides some powerful arguments for clinical application of Chinese medicine in asthma.MethodologyThis dissertation illustrates the feasibility of applying Ramuli Cinnamomi Decoction to bronchial asthma pathogenesy treatment and puts forward a research plan through literature review. First, review literatures of Chinese medicine and western medicine. Western literature review illustrates that reaction imbalance of cell subsets Th1 and Th2 is one of the distinct features of asthma pathogenesy. Chinese literature review shows that Ramuli Cinnamomi Decoction can regulate the imbalance because it functions to keep Ying and Weiqi in balance and harmonize Qi- Blond Yin and Yang. All these are to illustrate the feasibility of applying Ramuli Cinnamomi Decoction to asthma paracmasis. Second, design a feasible and scientific research plan of animal experiments and clinical tests on the basis of studies of Ramuli Cinnamomi Decoction and immune factors.ResultsThe literature review has shown the following findings. First, the reaction imbalance of two cell subsets of T-Helper Cells is one of the most distinctic features of paracmasis of Bronchial Asthma. Second, weakness of Qi and Yang and inefficiency of Wei-protect is an important intrinsic cause for asthma. Third, by keeping Ying and Weiqi in balance and harmonizing Qi and blood to regulate Zangfu-organ, Ramuli Cinnamomi Decoction could reduce recurrent asthma attacks. Fourth, BPT - brinchial provocation test, management test of ashma, and related animal experiements are good assessment tools to observe the curative effect of Ramuli Cinnamomi Decoction in paracmasis of Bronchial Asthma.ConclusionThis dissertation finds that applying Ramuli Cinnamomi Decoction in bronchial asthma pathogenesy treatment is feasible. Also, it designs a detailed research plan. First, carry out animal experiments. Apply Ramuli Cinnamomi Decoction to asthma mice's respiratory atriums. Observe changes in IL-4,IFN-γand IgE levels in BALF of them and carefully assess Ramuli Cinnamomi Decoction's effect on reaction of Th1 and Th2. Second, carry out BPT - brinchial provocation test and get the ACT score. Observe the curative effect on the clinical symptom of AHR - airway hyperreactivity and others of asthma patients.
