Study On Tcm Hospital Culture Development With "Benevolence, Harmony, Perfection,Integrity" As The Core

As the gradual opening up to the world in the medical and health institutions, some private, foreign, jo int venture and other forms of hospitals piled into the market. Public hospitals including Trad itional Chinese Med icine(TCM) hospitals are no longer dominant in the medical and health market, which is shared by all sorts of hospitals. Th is phenomenon will definitely lead to the reallocation of the market. In th is situation, in order to survive in the market competition, it’s necessary for the TCM hospitals’ administrators to consider the issues, such as how to improve their core competitiveness? How to pave a way for the diversified competition? Hospital facilities can be easily introduced, whereas each hospital, especially TCM hospital, has its own uniqueness in culture and it’s hard to copy that in a short time. From this perspective, hospital culture study plays an important role in hospital’s survival and development.This article explores the research status in the TCM hospital culture and believes that TCM hospital culture originates from both TCM and modern hospital culture, which are mutually influenced and blended. Based on this conclusion, TCM hospital culture is defined as hospital culture with TCM cu ltural characteristics. At first, it describes the connection between TCM culture and Traditional Chinese culture which both are same-booted and mutually influenced, and elaborates on the core values(Benevo lence, Harmony, Perfection, Integrity) of the TCM cu lture. It also analyzes the current situation and problems of the TCM hospital culture development and explains the necessity of the TCM hospital culture development, and proposes the possible measures for the development. With Anhui Provincial TCM Hospital’s culture development as an example, this article researches on its culture development plan and puts forward some suggestions and countermeasures for TCM hospital culture development.
