Bird flu is also called Low pathogenic avian influenza and mild type of bird flu. It refers to somelow pathogenic avian influenza strain infected poultry caused by low mortality and mild respiratorytract infection or rate decline in clinical syndrome, after it infected flocks tend to cause the loss of flocksof immunity, reduced resistance to all kinds of pathogens, prone to concurrent or secondary infection.Inrecent years,avian Influenza is epidemic that caused a great economic loss in Raising industry in ourcountry.And it is also a Serious threat to human health.So People pay more and more attention to theresearch of avian influenza. Zi Jin powder is a kind of traditional Chinese medicine compound powderthat under the guidance of theory of veterinary, according to the etiology, mechanism, diagnosis andtreatment of Low pathogenic avian influenza, combined with compound in all sorts of pharmacology oftraditional Chinese medicine medicinal properties and compatibility relations. And it is developed byscience and through clinical trials to obtain significant results.In order to make the compound product be quickly applied to production practice, We studied theTLC of compound powder. In this experiment TLC were used for qualitative identification medicinalherbs in the components. And ultimately determines the TLC for Aster tataricus, flos lonicerae, radixscutellariae, fructus forsythiae and radix bupleuri.Under this selected chromatographic conditions, goodchromatographic spots were separated. This method can effectively identify Aster tataricus, floslonicerae, radix scutellariae, fructus forsythiae and radix bupleuri in the compound. The methodestablished by this experiment was simple and focused with good reproducibility, so it could be used toprovide a reliable basis for control the quality of compound powder.This paper on the basis of experimental research also studied aster single herbs of different polaritycough, asthma, and expectorative effect on the basis of Zhike Pingchuan granules. Use the acutetoxicity for test its LD50, the cough model induced by strong aqua ammonia in mice was used toobserve the antitussive effect, asthma model induced by spraying method was used to observed theantiasthmatic effect, capillary method to observe the expectorant effect in rat.Through the above research made clear a preliminary effect mechanism of phlegm cough, asthma,expectorant. It is also provided a scientific basis for aster safety use in clinical. As for thepharmacodynamic mechanism of asters in the compound is remains to be further research.
