Objective:To analysis and research the morphological changes of stages of the DR in patients by optical coherence tomography, and to explore the correlation among them, and to develop the treatment methods in the next step.Method:From December 2013 to December 2014 in our hospital diagnosed 57 cases of type 2 diabetes and 10 cases of normal individuals, were routined dilated fundus examination, fundus photography and fundus fluorescein angiography(FFA) check, and according to the diabetes grading standards developed in the 2002 International Ophthalmology academic meeting were divided into three groups:non-diabetic retinopathy(NDR, 20 eyes of 20 cases) 、 nonproliferative diabetic retinopathy(NPDR,20 eyes of 20 cases)、proliferative diabetic retinopathy(PDR,17 eyes of 17cases). Scan central fovea of macula and peripapillary nerve fiber layer of patients in each group by OCT, and record the thickness of macular central fovea and the average thickness of the peripapillary nerve fiber layer of each patient and normal individuals.Result:The thickness of macular central fovea of the formal group 、the NDR group、the NPDR group、the PDR group were 153.16±8.27)μm、(210.90±19.87)μm、(218.20±24.22)μm、'(304.11±140.30)μm;The thickness of the peripapillary nerve fiber layer of the four groups were(96.67±9.09)μm、(95.78±9.28)μm、(86.4±9.44)μm '(65.78±9.37)μm. Compaired with the NDR group the formal group about the thickness of macular central fovea is not statistically significant(P>0.05);Formal、NDR、NPDR、PDR among the four groups, there are pairwise tatistically significant in the thickness of macular central fovea( P < 0.05); So are the thickness of the peripapillary nerve fiber layer. OCT can be visually presented macular edema patternin patients with DR, there are basically three types: serous neural epithelial detachment, retinal cavernous swelling and cystoid macular edema. Conclusion:OCT can not only display various forms of macular region in DR patients, but also qualitatively and quantitatively observe macular central fovea thickness and optic nerve fiber layer thickness fine changes of patients with DR, thus corresponding to each of the patient ’s treatment.
