Clinical Study Of Nourishing Liver And Kidney Huoxue Tongluo Decoction To The Syndrome Of Yin Deficiency Of The Liver And Kidney Blood Retention And Stagnancy Of Essential Hypertension

Objective: Hypertension is the main risk factor for cardiovascular diseases, which include stroke, coronary artery disease, and heart failure leading to 1.8 million deaths worldwide every year. Therefore, the prevention and treatment of hypertension is the key to avoid complications of hypertension. In our country, with the acceleration of population aging process, the number of patients with primary hypertension will increase. In recent years, although the cognition, treatment and control of hypertension disease are improved, the overall level is low. Although many kinds of western medicine antihypertensive drugs are highly effective methods of treatment, these methods exert severe side effects in use. While to use of Chinese medicine can improve the quality of patients’ life with the minimal side effect.To observe the clinical effects and the mechanism of Nourishing liver and kidney Huoxue tongluo decoction be used to patients with syndrome of Yin deficiency of the liver and kidney Blood retention and stagnancy of essential hypertension.Methods: Sixty cases of Outpatients and inpatients with syndrome of Yin deficiency of the liver and kidney Blood retention and stagnancy of essential hypertension from 2013.3 to 2014.5 were selected and divided into two groups randomly: treatment group and control group. And treated with Nourishing liver and kidney Huoxue tongluo decoction and Losartanrespectively for four weeks. The curative effete on blood pressure, NPY, ANP of plasma and colour sonography,hemorrheology, TCM Syndrome were observed.Results:1 The decrease of BP was observed in the treatment group and the control group, and there was a significant difference between before treatment and after treatment(P<0.05).2 The decrease of NPY was observed in the treatment group and the control group, and there was not a significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).3 The decrease of ANP was observed in the treatment group and the control group, and there was not a significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).4 LVST, LVPWT, FS, LVEF were improved in the treatment group and the control group, and there was not a significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).5 WBV, PV, HTC were improved in the treatment group and the control group. There was a significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05).6 TCM Syndrome was improved in the treatment group and the control group. There was a significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05).Conclusions: Nourishing liver and kidney Huoxue tongluo decoction is a effective prescription to the patient with Yin deficiency of the liver and kidney Blood retention and stagnancy of essential hypertension; and decreasing NPY,ANP of plasma and improve colour sonography,hemorrheology probably is the important mechanism.
