ObjectiveAtractylodes essential oil is extracted from Atractylodes Macrocephala Koidz. Modern pharmacological studies have shown that the atractylodes essential oil has good antitumor activity. However the current study of extracted oil is only for the chemical composition analysis and some of the monomer composition of a preliminary study on the antitumor activity. The aim of this study is prepare good atractylodes essential oil microemulsion, research its physical and chemical properties, developing the equality standard and stability, studying the preliminary pharmacodynamics research.Methods1. The research use the water titration method combined with microplate dilution method screeing the composition of microemulsion.Titration method and pseudo ternary phase diagrammethod were used screen microemulsion prescription. The Design Expert software was used optimize microemulsion and select optimal microemulsion.2. Multifunctional enzyme lable was used to determined the essential oil microemulsion absorbrance. Researching the physical stability. The atractylodes lactone Ⅰ and atractylodes lactone Ⅲ in atractylodes essential oil microemulsion was detrmined using HPLC, and the stability was evaluated.3. Through the determined by MTT method atractylodes essential oil microemulsion was studied on MHCC97L of liver cancer and laung cancer A549 cell inhibition rate, and the preliminary evaluation of the stand or fall of its pharmacodynamics in vitro. The evaluation of vivo, we made the microemulsion fill the nude stomach.4. The quality standars contains qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative contains thin layer chromatography and finger print. The Part of quantitative use HPLC determination of atractylodes lactone I and atractylodes lactoneⅢ as index.Results1. Select component extracted by essential oil composition of microemulsion, obtained the best prescription extracted by essential oil microemulsion.2. The physical stability and chemical stability of the extracted by essential oil microemulsion was investigated.3. By means of in vitro and in vivo pharmacodynamics extracted by essential oil microemulsion pharmacodynamics has carried on the preliminary evaluation.4.
